Hogans also scored at all three levels and was most impressive taking it to the rim. She was contested all night, but the versatile Hogans kept on coming. She had some impressive finishes inside and a few assists off the drive. As stated, Hogans can shoot the long ball and she got a few to go in the second half. The shooting guard also rebounded well from the guard position.

Hogans can move her feet laterally, she has good length, she has very active hands, and she has the confidence to get the job done. What makes Hogans a problem is not just her defense, but her ability to create turnovers and turn those into points. Hogans has a nice layup package and she can also score with the kiss of the glass in transition. Hogans could be the defensive catalyst in the playoffs.

She showcased her ability to create separation with a nearly unstoppable step-back move. Her impressive vertical leap was also on display during a transition chase-down block, where she nearly jumped over a teammate to make the play.

Lamiyah wasn’t just a primary scoring option; she also demonstrated her tenacity on defense, making numerous hustle plays, including diving on the floor for loose balls. Her senior leadership will be a driving force in helping San Jose Prep make a deep run in the 2A playoffs.

She was one the most versatile prospects at the showcase.

Hogans is a walking bucket and does everything with ease. A player that lures you to sleep with her handles and gets downhill quickly. She knows how to get to the rim and finish through contact. A great 2-way player that plays hard on both ends of the floor. Her length and her ability to score at will creates matchup problems for her defenders. Look for her to be on a lot of coaches’ radars this upcoming season.
