The first live period of 2024 is nearly here. That said, I want to highlight some names to keep tabs on during the live period and next week to see if they've publicly posted any new offers from schools. Today, we're starting with the 2025s.

Publicly, the only offer we know of is Green Bay for Merow, and with the ongoing coaching search, who knows what that'll look like. However, Merow is a kid I expect to garner significant interest from D1 schools. There aren't many 6-2 kids as skilled around the rim as Merow. She's physical, catches the ball in traffic, and does an excellent job keeping the ball high when guards try to swipe at the ball. Multiple coaching staffs will love her skillset. Granted, more schools than Green Bay may have offered her a scholarship already. I'm sure more will watch a few of her games this weekend.

[player_tooltip player_id='338952' first='Karinna' last='Trotter']

There may not be a more intriguing prospect in the 2025 class than [player_tooltip player_id='338952' first='Karinna' last='Trotter']. She has excellent size at 6-2, and she's as skilled a post as you'll find in the Midwest. She can handle, shoot, play in the post, and pass well for a forward. She can do a little of everything, and she's developed a mean streak whenever she wants to overpower a smaller matchup. There is plenty to like about her game, and I'm intrigued to see if anyone manifests their interest in her into a scholarship.

[player_tooltip player_id='448246' first='Addison' last='Baumgart']

The Kaukauna wing's appeal is her ability to stretch the floor. In systems that allow her to space the floor and get multiple open looks from the three-point line per game, she's bound to punish defenses for allowing her open space. Whenever her team gets into the lane, Baumgart tends to stay on the perimeter waiting for kick-out passes, and she's routinely made them playing for [program_tooltip program_id='713127' first='Wisconsin' last='Legends']. Her shooting paired next to an elite guard would be valuable on talented teams.

[player_tooltip player_id='338947' first='Lauren' last='Strifling']

Strifling exploded last summer and earned a handful of D2 offers from around the Midwest in the GLVC and GLIAC. The Homestead Highlander's ability to space the floor and play taller than her 5-11 is a valuable asset. She's also shown flashes of attacking off the dribble. It may not be something she typically does for Homestead or Chapman. However, if coaches can envision her as more of a three than a four at the next level and can develop her into that, she has a chance to be a significant player on uber-talented teams.
