It won't be long until the Class of 2024 walks the aisle to the tune of “Pomp and Circumstance.”

Here is a second report this weekend celebrating a group of seniors from the Sunflower State.

[player_tooltip player_id='744050' first='Korie' last='Kirkwood'], 5'8”, SF, Valley Falls

Kirkwood averaged double-digits in points scored for three straight seasons. During her senior campaign, she scored 17 points per contest and grabbed eight boards per game. She is also a solid defender who averaged more than two steals in each of her three varsity seasons. Kirkwood is currently ranked No. 128 overall in the class of 2024 and (to my knowledge) is still an uncommitted athlete who also plays softball.

Dawson Cochren, 5'7”, SG, Jackson Heights

Cochren had a solid senior season for the Cobras. She was featured in a scouting report in January for her sharpshooting from the free throw line. She finished her season averaging 16.6 points in 21 games played. The Jackson Heights guard converted 112-of-149 free throw attempts good for a 75 percent shooting mark. Cochren also cleaned the boards at an 8.3 rebounds per game clip. She could be a solid late addition to an NAIA program still looking to add players from the 2024 class.

[player_tooltip player_id='817392' first='Kaci' last='Meseke'], 5'8”, SG, Wabaunsee

Wabaunsee's Meseke finished her high school career scoring 15.8 points per game in 22 contests. She had a huge spike in scoring dropping 347 points during her senior season compared to 201 points the season prior. Meseke is ranked No. 200 overall by Prep Girls Hoops. Meseke is planning on attending Kansas State University after graduation. If I were an intramural coach on the Manhattan Campus, I would be hunting Meseke down to serve as my ringer!

[player_tooltip player_id='396401' first='Caitlyn' last='Foltz'], 5'11”, SG, Anderson County

Foltz almost averaged a double-double for the Anderson County Bulldogs in her senior season. She scored at a 14.7 ppg clip and averaged 9.4 rebounds in 23 games. Her numbers over her final three seasons of high school basketball were very consistent. She increased her scoring each season and finished with 10-plus rebounds per contest as a sophomore and junior. Foltz is ranked No. 93 overall among her Kansas peers and has committed to playing basketball at Fort Scott Community College.
