Coach Speak: Team Unlimited 17U OG w/ Coach Teal Davis

This will be her first year playing 17U as a freshman. She just plays the right way. She was the only freshman on Dobyns Bennett's varsity team this year, and she thrives on the defensive end. She knows how to guard, score, and make reads. She's a very special freshman, and she has garnered some interest from the d1 and d2 level. She's the starting post for TN High, and she thrives on the boards. She finishes well around the basket, and she's hard to score against. She's an incredible teammate, and she has a great personality. I am very thankful that we have her to protect our paint! She leads by example. She plays tough defense, and she can shoot the three very well. Her overall game has improved tremendously this high school season. She is always wanting to be better, and she's the ultimate teammate. She's our ultimate utility player. She can play 3-5, and at each position she can guard. She has developed an outside shot to pair with her footwork on the inside. She's 5'9, but she never plays undersized. She is an athlete and hustler. She's a lefty shooter with an endless motor. She is for her team, and she works to make sure she is better for her goals and team. Tins is a big piece of Knox Catholic's varsity squad, and she always plays steady. She's consistent with her play, and she knows how to knock down the trey. She has incredible size for when she drives, and she can defend bigger guards as well. She's a natural driver and she scored her 1,000th point this season! She can do it all. She can score from the outside and inside, and she's not afraid to guard someone full court. She's a player that converts on the majority of her 1v1 set ups. At some workouts, we've also taken notice of her improved outside shot. She is known for her ability to knock down the three and make plays. Her IQ is one of her best attributes along with her hustle.
