Sally McReynolds Sally McReynolds 5'9" | CG Dobyns-Bennett | 2027 State TN is another player on the Dobyns-Bennett High School team with a dynamic skill set.

One of McReynolds main strengths as a player is her perimeter shooting. She is a great spot-up shooter, having had several games in her junior season with two or more made 3-pointers. This includes a game against Volunteer High School where she made four 3-pointers. McReynolds does a good job of squaring her feet to the basket quickly upon receiving a pass on the perimeter. That helps her have a fast jumper.

McReynolds, on defense at her size, has the ability to guard both on the perimeter and in the interior.

Sally has played up with our 16U group since the 7th grade. This will be her first year playing 17U as a freshman. She just plays the right way. She was the only freshman on Dobyns Bennett’s varsity team this year, and she thrives on the defensive end. She knows how to guard, score, and make reads. She’s a very special freshman, and she has garnered some interest from the d1 and d2 level. I expect her to grow tremendously this season in her leadership skills.

Tough, hard nosed pg that defends

She can score at all 3 levels. Her IQ continues to improve and it’s obvious her can trust her with anything. She’s a player’s coach–and an extension of coach Teal on the floor. Loved the chemistry they had. She was super impressive this weekend as a ’27 playing up vs ’25s.
