Jada Ojukwu || Cenntenial High School (ID) || 3SSB Utah Lady Prospects 17U ||
Jada was an absolute bucket out there on Day 1. Her lefty shot was pure and her mechanics made it look effortless. She was not only able to spread the floor well with her shooting but she is agile off the bounce getting to the rim with an array of moves to the basket. She finished through contact and was a standout for sure. She has a few D1’s under her belt but if she continues to play like she did last night she is going to start to turn more heads. She handles the ball with ease and has great court vision.
Maleah Nelson Maleah Nelson 5'6" | PG Bountiful | 2027 State UT || Bountiful High School || Utah Summit 16U ||
Nelson is playing up one year and she can hoop. On her high school team there are multiple ball handlers so she doesn’t always have to handle the ball but out here she showed that she is not only a shooter that can hit from anywhere and with range but that she can handle the ball with strength and poise. She is among the best in that Class of 2027 but do not be surprised if she continues to play herself up in the rankings if this is a common staple we see in the spring and summer.
Peyton Warner || Utah Prospects Red 14U ||
Peyton is a baller and she is playing a grade up as well as she is only a 7th grader but she is up there hanging with the best p layer on teh floor. She is shifty with the ball in her hands and she can change directions smoothly to shake off defenders. She sees the game develop well and oputs herself in great positions to score. She shoots the ball well and she has a physicl side to her offense and defense and that is why she can hang a few grades up.
Jada Jangard Jada Jangard 5'7" | CG Mountain Ridge | 2026 State UT || Mountain Ridge High School || Utah Summit 16U ||
Jangard was tough out ther eon both ends of the ball on Day 1. She moves her feet well to keep players in front and she has active hands. In transition she makes great reads with the ball in her hands and she also makes great decisions pacing the floor. She shot the ball well.
Rihanna Jones Rihanna Jones 5'10" | CG Roy | 2027 State UT || Roy High School || 3SSB Utah Lady Prospects 15U ||
Jones was a big spark plug off the bench as she came in and was instantly making her presence known on defense with her quick reads and even in the paint contesting shots. Her movement off the ball was great as she spaced the floor to get open looks and drives.
Iman Finau Iman Finau 5'10" | CG Kearns | 2025 State UT || Kearns High School || Utah Lady Prospects Gold 17U ||
Iman is an absolute athlete and her attacks to the rim were just flawless. She was making quick reads and moves. She was using different finishes including euro’s to the cup. She can defend anyone on the floor and her two way skills are solid. She had a great showing Day 1.
