When the coaches and scouts put the rankings together, you should have heard the conversations being had because of how we couldn’t believe how much depth this class brought to the table. Most importantly , this class is truly filled with some difference makers, young ladies who bring a lot of substance to the table.
One might think I am crazy, but in this class, I truly believe you saw the most growth amongst the young ladies. Kudos to them, but it was like a light switch flipped on and boom, there it goes. Within this class you saw girls rise to the challenge to become something special for their ball club. Their coach couldn’t take them off the floor. Their teammates respected their game and relied on them in big moments. The girls themselves played with poise. Once you become that confident as a player, your trajectory just ascends.
This particular class is battle tested. It’s like they play the game with a chip on their shoulder. They have taken nothing for granted and have risen to the challenge. Just like the SEC conference slogan “ it means more,” to them, that rings so true. This is an exciting class and a class that has some playmakers on both ends of the floor.
Check out a few hidden gems and you too will understand what all the fuss is about. Here are some Hidden Gems within the 2025 class.
Abiylyn Teter (5’8/Jr./SG/ Cannon Co.)– District player of the year, this young lady’s stock has risen significantly. She has a beautiful shot that she unleashes from the arc. She can put the ball on the floor to finish at the rim. I know for a fact she has put in countless hours outside of what is required to polish her game to where she can perform at a high level. Blessed with size and length this kid has posed a problem for district foes. Look for her to continue to improve and get better over time.

Looking for someone with great upside, this girl has that along with size.
Callie Reeder Callie Reeder 5'11" | PF Pickett County | 2025 State TN (5’11/Jr./PF/ Pickett Co.)– She is the rosie the riveter of high school basketball, she can do all things. This young lady just rolls up her sleeves (if she played with them) and just competes. On the boards on both ends, defends, blocks shots, runs the floor, finishes through contact, knocks down shots here and there. She plays a pivotal role and stars in it. She was the MVP of her club’s championship team and she still has more left in the tank to show. This young lady is a tough competitor who brings her lunchpail to the gym every game. A hard working kid with a tremendous work ethic.
