The ’25 Pickett PG led the way as the Lady Bobcats beat Clay County in the district championship.  This Pickett squad seemingly had a different kid that can step up on any given night and lead the way.  Last night it was Emmy Lowe Emmy Lowe 5'9" | SG Pickett Co. | 2025 State TN :  31 points and 13 assists!! as she was named Tournament MVP.

Emmy Lowe Emmy Lowe 5'9" | SG Pickett Co. | 2025 State TN doesn’t get enough pub.  She’s another Pickett player that’s supreme skill seems to lie in her consistency.  Lowe’s stat lines and effort are always predictably high:  14 points, 7 rebounds, and 6 assists in limited minutes.  Lowed is a great “connector” that does a multitude of jobs for Pickett.

Lol Pickett is really good.

In a huge win over Clarkrange, Lowe had 20 points.  Zoey Nicholas Zoey Nicholas 5'9" | SG Pickett Co. | 2026 State TN had 23 points and 6 assists.  Callie Reeder Callie Reeder 5'11" | PF Cookeville | 2025 State TN had an “off-night” but still nearly had a double double with 10 points, 9 rebounds, and 2 blocks.  These three compliment each other really well offensively, and Pickett can attack you from multiple places on the floor.  Lowe has turned into a really shifty guard that can break a defense down, possesses high-level vision, and simply makes winning plays.  PC has multiple kids that can carry the scoring load enough to win you a game, and come tourney time when the points get tough to come by, it gives Pickett the chance to be special.

Lowe was a team leader on her Pickett County team that made it to the State Tournament last year. They will be favored to return again this year, and Lowe is a major reason why.  Lowe was named All-District and All-Region last season.  She’s a do-it-all kid that contributes to winning in multiple areas.  For example, in last year’s substate win sending PC to state, Lowe had 12pts, 5rebs, 5assists.

Every coach loves a players that can impact a game in multiple areas. In the Region Championship win over Clarkrange:  16/8/6.  Region semis:  18/11/6.  Look at those numbers!  She’s the type of kid that can lead you in rebounds and assists while being a high level scorer.  She’s a unique player!

She has a college ready body with great strength, and she can lock down an opposing guard with her quickness. A really nice college prospect that’s flying under the radar.
