Craig is a player that I hadn’t seen before or maybe I did and there was no roster but nevertheless, she was seen by @PlayerRimidies a few weeks ago so I’m glad I had a chance to get my eyes on her. Well that’s an understatement because her energy alone, on both ends was refreshing, especially after driving 45 minutes in rain yet her “on the ball” pressure was smothering throughout the game, she played the passing lane, was vocal on the court and scored off the dribble
Highlights
Lovett was hard to miss because she was “long and athletic” and couldn’t miss from outside off the top. She was also spotted by Marissa during the high school season so I was impressed at how she not only created her shot under pressure but her release was smooth and she dropped it from mid to long-range with a hand in her face. She also scored off the dribble, finished strongly after contact and watching her hit the boards and handle the ball afterward was nice, especially since she saw the floor in the open court
Wilson was one of the most impressive guards I saw over the 3 day weekend and her handling the ball JUST DID IT for me. Yeah I love razzle-dazzle and being able to hypnotize the defender and when you add explosiveness off the dribble, awe man. Her she got to the rim however and whenever she wanted yet more importantly she set her teammates up for easy looks. Well, I guess it’s also important that she scored while attacking and finished after contact, at times acrobatically. I’m still having flashes of her going full speed and going between her legs to leave the defender cemented

Wilson is Jayla’s younger sister and her poise under pressure was very nice as she dropped shots with a hand in her face from NBA range. She showed she could “catch and shoot” it with accuracy as well as overpower guards off the dribble. Her court vision was also solid
Gilmore is “long and athletic” and appears to stand over “the magic number” yet the real magic starts with her UPS as she goes AFTA the ball off the rim, on both ends. She also showed good timing to block, alter and (or) deflect shots
Jackson does something I love to see and that’s playing the passing lane. It’s simple, yet I just don’t see enough of it but she’s an athletic guard who uses her athleticism on both ends. She scored off the dribble, she also dished while attacking but her seeing the floor stood out from all over. Her crossover needs to be mentioned because it got her past the defender to drop the jumper
Noelle-Tcheuhchoua was another player who impressed me with their UPS and she used it multiple ways. Yeah, she altered some shots, deflected a couple as well but her finishing strongly around the basket, after contact was nice. Her defense was solid and she hit the boards on both ends
Davis ad me going for a number of reasons starting with the heat she applied baseline to baseline on defense. Yeah, she was another athletic guard that understood how to use her athleticism on both ends and her attacking and finishing after contact, body controlled played a part in that, so I liked that yet I also liked her court vision. She also understands something else I love to see yet rarely see it, she “FOLLOWS HER SHOT”
