Lovett showed me early I was going to “LOVETT” as she created her shot and let it go like a work of art yet the painting wasn’t complete as she continued to add more to her impressive game. Her size gave her advantages as she could score over smaller guard inside the paint plus seeing her attacking and finishing with either hand was another huge plus. Her range, as well as her “catch and shoot” kept getting better, as did her court vision and defense and she played a major role in her high school team knocking off heavy hitters this season see evaluations here

Lovett had me thinking, “I LOVE IT” as I watched her for the first time squaring up to elevate and drop the jumper, and as she’s a “long and athletic guard” seeing her set the defender up to score off the dribble keeps them guessing. Her “stop and pop” as well as “catch and shoot” have become even more dangerous, and she too will play a big part in how far her team goes in the playoffs, see evaluation here

Lovett smoothly elevated her game from the first time I caught her, and seeing her spot up and elevate on her jumper early gave me a hint of what type of scorer she could be, and as usual, I was right. She’s a “long and athletic” guard who mixes it up offensively to score off the dribble or drop the “stop and pop” as well as “catch and shoot” but her rebounding and court vision also looked good

Lovett is a “smooth as silk guard” who can play multiple positions; however, seeing her elevate and drop the jumper from mid-range to long range is what first caught my attention a few years ago. Yeah, she’s long and athletic, which is the base, rebounds on both ends, and can defend both inside and outside the paint, yet her attacking off the dribble as well as court vision are key to her team’s success

#84 up from #87 Lovett has shown a knack for being able to knock down the big shot when needed, both in high school as well as club ball yet her continued “on the court” progression and being able to score off the dribble while finishing after contact makes her more of a threat see evalauations here

Lovett is a big guard who can shoot and is one of 4 players from the squad who scored in double figures. She does a good job creating her shot, as well as spacing to get it off and drop it from mid to long-range yet did a good job defensively and played the passing lane

Lovett left a lasting first impression at the #HeartOfTexas and my saying that #talentiseverywhere is true because she is from the Houston area and I knew nothing about her. Her college-ready frame and her playing taller than her listed height grabbed me initially yet her pull-up jumper, stop and pop, from mid to long range as well as her scoring off the dribble spoke volumes, not because of what she did, it’s how she did it and who she did it against

Lovett was hard to miss because she was “long and athletic” and couldn’t miss from outside off the top. She was also spotted by Marissa during the high school season so I was impressed at how she not only created her shot under pressure but her release was smooth and she dropped it from mid to long-range with a hand in her face. She also scored off the dribble, finished strongly after contact and watching her hit the boards and handle the ball afterward was nice, especially since she saw the floor in the open court
