To me that means you are putting in the work. Some of these players showed their mid range and outside shots but for this article I was focused on inside play. I was at LD Bell this past weekend covering 2 gyms. I am sure I probably missed a few. If sot please tag me in a highlight and I will check you out.
Inside player that demanded the ball inside giving the passer a big target to throw to. impressive was the footwork she had to in the low post. The combination of footwork and rolling shoulder to shoulder to seal the high side showed that she puts in the work before she catches the ball. An aggressive offensive rebounder that slides around the box out to get hand on the ball keeping the rebound alive. Kept the ball high on her turn around shot made it almost impossible to block.

Kayla is a high intensify player that leaves it all on the court. A physical player in the low post area puts her in this category for me. Impressive was her work ethic on the defense and offense boards. Post moves inside the 3 feet area where strong playing through the contact for the finish. At times she played the 3-4 spots moving without the ball creating open shots for herself. Kayla can shoot making her a very versicle player

Alyssa Brewer
Player that gives what she has in between the lines. A physical low post player that uses her body to shield off the much taller player drawing several fouls. Offense rebound putbacks allowed her squad to score second chance points. What stood out was her toughness to mix it up for a rebound or getting on the floor for a 50/50 ball. She also showed a nice mid range game.
Riley is a 4-5 combo that has great footwork and protects the paint. In the low post she keeps the ball high and off the floor using her body to protect the shot from getting blocked. Nice drop step and turn around move in the low post. Deadly shooter from the short corner area but will used a pump fake and dribble for a smooth jumper. Excellent block on the rebound assured that she was getting that board.
Highlights
At a listed 5’9 maybe the shortest of these inside players but definitely can bang with the best of them. Footwork rotation offensively in the low post kept the taller defender from getting over the top. High percentage finisher within the 5 feet area. Physical defense player that works hard in the low post and a solid rebounder as well.
Highlights
Solid Post that demanded the ball on the block. Runs the floor on fastbreaks able to score several times on a rim run. Great hands and physical enough helped her to hold off defender while gathering the ball. Nice footwork in the post area doing most of the work before she caught the ball. A nice over the shoulder move within 5 feet of the basket. A strong power dribble while absorbing the contact help her to finish the basket
