Nixon continues to elevate her game and watching her fill in so many blanks and doing things that don’t necessarily show up on score or stat sheets yet are key ingredients at the end of the game. She rebounds on both ends, scores around the basket and plays sold defense in and outside the paint yet she’s doing a better job attacking and finishing with either hand and dropping the midrange while being defended
Konarik wasn’t at the scrimmage but sold me a long time ago wit her shooting, either catch and shoot, coming off a screen or just creating her shot while being defended and elevating to drop it with a hand in her face yet she also is attacking the basket stronger and finishing after contact. Her defense “on the ball” has gotten better and so has her timing to block shots
Rogers is a tough defender who also outrebounds taller opponents, some of that is because of her understanding positioning, much of that is because of her desire and “you won’t outwork me” mindset which trickles over to her diving for loose balls as well as playing the passing lane but here is what grabbed me, her midrange was smoking and she set the defender up very well to get to her spot

Reagan Robbins
Reagan Robbins
Robbins didn’t make the scrimmage yet she made me notice her on Saturday because she is “long and athletic” and you should know by now that is the base yet her intangibles and upside are nice. She did a good job on defense, both in and outside the paint, her lateral movement and ability to react were nice, so was her timing as she altered shots. She also scored around the basket and off the dribble
Williams is one of the MOST IMPROVED BIGS in Texas over the past 3 years. One more time, I don’t fabricate and watching her play HURT and score around the basket with players literally hanging on her tells a different story about where she is with her progression. She rebounded, on both ends, ran the floor and even handled the ball and made passes in the open court. Defense was solid and she scored off the dribble

Raylee Huse
Raylee Huse
Huse wasn’t at the scrimmage yet she immediately grabbed my attention by grabbing rebounds and going C2C, that’s coast to coast, and score. She gave me the same outcome after playing the passing lane yet I was just as impressed with her court vision in transition as well as in the set. She did a good job defending, her quick hands got her some steals plus she scored off the dribble
Warhime is a multi-talented guard that does so many things well yet her staying under control under pressure has always been an attraction. Let me start with her “on the ball” defense as she’s feisty baseline to baseline. Her court vision in the set as well as in transition is also a plus but peep this, she also showed me the “touch pass” as well as dropping it from outside ala “catch and shoot” and scored off the dribble
Dana Parker
Dana Parker
Parker wowed me with her work ethic inside the paint and when you factor in she BASTTLES for the ball off the rim, on both ends, that’s BIG. She also did a good job on the interior defensively yet showed me on Saturday she can defend on the ball outside the paint. She scored around the basket, she also faced the basket and score plus her court vision was solid
