Princess Nwachukwu Princess Nwachukwu 5'11" | C Vel Phillips Memorial | 2025 State WI
I talked about Nwachukwu a few days ago, but any college coach making their way to Waukesha this weekend should watch Nwachuku at least once. She’s physically ready for the next level right now, and she plays with a high motor that’ll make her challenging to handle for opposing defenses. There’s room for improvement skill-wise, but you won’t find many 6-footers like Nwachukwu. I suspect most coaches who watch her will love what she does on both ends of the floor.
Torie Neubauer Torie Neubauer 6'0" | PF Appleton East | 2025 State WI
The Appleton East wing/forward is as versatile as anyone you’ll see this weekend. She’s a proficient outside shooter who’s comfortable with her back to the basket. She’s skilled enough to beat post players off the dribble and quick enough to put a quick post move on someone and finish through traffic around the basket. In an AAU setting, there isn’t much that I don’t think Neubauer couldn’t do. She’s drawn some interest from scholarship-level schools based on how she played last summer, and I’m sure that’ll continue this summer.
Faith Walder Faith Walder 5'5" | PG West De Pere | 2025 State WI
An untimely injury last July kept her out of each of the July live periods, and schools were looking to see her but missed out. However, she’s back after another solid season for West De Pere and will continue to do more of what we’re used to seeing from her. She had to play a higher-usage role due to the injury of her backcourt mate, Ella Francoise, and I thought Walder showed more of what she could do. She got to the free-throw line more, took more threes, and continued to create for her teammates while scoring more than she had in her career. I feel she’s shown more aggression on the offensive end, which will help her in her final AAU run with Wisconsin Legends .
Eva Brooks Eva Brooks 6'0" | PF Lena | 2025 State WI
I don’t know if anyone made more of a name for themselves at the state tournament in Green Bay than Eva Brooks Eva Brooks 6'0" | PF Lena | 2025 State WI . She put up some absurd lines in Lena’s two games at the Resch Center. There aren’t many kids with her size and ability to make something happen off the dribble. Granted, she dominated against small school kids, and it’s not the same as playing against some of the best players in the state, but she has a chance to pop this summer. If she can rebound, handle the ball, shoot, and protect the basket, some scholarship schools will take a hard look at her.
