Continue ReadingSaturday was filled with knock down Shooting Guards, next-level Point Guards, and some impressive Forwards across all age levels at the Victory Region Kick Off. In this article we highlight five prospects out of the 2026 Class, who did a good job of showing out to their best ability throughout the day. Each individual stepped on the court ready to roll and they kept their heads held high when things didn’t go their way. Something that more prospects could learn from while they are out there competing on the hardwood.
Thanks for tuning in and enjoy!
Ferguson is a determined Point Guard, who had her whole game on full-display on Saturday in her team’s contest. She demonstrated that she is very good in the open court, while being someone that can cross over any defender that might step in her way. She was in a battle most of the day with some talent opponents and she did a great job of holding her own in several aspects of the game. Her most impressive abilities are her quick dribble and her footwork. More times then not, she was beating her 1v1 matchup and getting into the interior of the defense where she would either finish at the rim or pull up for a tricky step-back move to create some space into her shot. Moving forward, this is someone that could really put it together the next few months. If she expands her game to being a more efficient jump shooter, she is going to be almost impossible to guard in 1 on 1 matchups.

I highlighted Quinn Arundel Quinn Arundel 5’5″ | PG Mother McAuley | 2026 State IL prior to this tournament as being someone to know about because of her shooting ability. Well that still may be the case but in her team’s contest on Saturday, she was EATING on the defensive side of the floor, showing me that she has a much more diverse skill-set then I originally thought. It seemed like on almost every other possession, Arundel was getting a tip/deflection, leading into a steal on the other end. In one of her team’s contests specifically, she had to have about 15 Points, 5 Rebounds, 7 Assists, and 5-10 Steals, demonstrating how good she really can be down the stretch of a contest. When you combined her shooting ability with her active hands and quick moving feet, you understand that she can produce on either side of the floor against anyone. Doesn’t matter who the competition is, she is going to make it happen.
Emily Naraky Emily Naraky 6’1″ | SF Loyola Academy | 2027 IL is a prospect that has raw ability. She is a 2027, that is playing up a level and competing at a high rate. I had the privilege of watching Naraky compete twice yesterday and both times she made her presence known but especially in the second game of their day. She ended that specific contest with 20 Points and she made some really important shots down the stretch to give her team a chance to tie it at the buzzer against a very good All in Athletics 2026 3SSB Program. Naraky has that combination that all coaches love to see. She has some size, she can handle and attack from all three levels, she has touch near the rim, and she plays with a high motor in almost every situation. If there is a college coach out there reading this and you want someone who is going to listen to you, while having natural size, talent, and athleticism, this would be a prospect to keep an eye on the rest of this Spring/Summer AAU season.

Nicole Warbinski
A prospect that jumped out to me in the brief time that I had a chance to see her team compete was Nicole Warbinski of the Illinois Rockets 2026. Warbinski has long arms, she moves her feet quickly from side-to-side, and she is disciplined on both sides of the floor. She seems like a prospect that always leaves it all on the floor, while playing with a lot of heart on each and every possession. When she has moments to take control or seize an opportunity, she is pretty good at making things happen. Not to mention, she communicates really well with the teammates around her and is always the first player to come from help-side on defense to try to get a stop. Overall, this is someone that I would need to see compete again but from the looks of it, she plays the part she is given by her coaches and there is some talent here to build off of moving into the future.
M14 2026 BlueStar is a team that competes with a lot of heart. They have their entire bench up cheering on almost every possession and they never seem to take things in a negative way. A prospect for this group that comes off the bench, who has displayed a smooth shooting stroke from deep is Adysen Fanta Adysen Fanta 5’9″ | SG Downers Grove North | 2026 IL . Fanta is around 5’7-5’8 and when she lets the ball go for a jump shot, it always looks like it has a chance of going in. No matter where she is at on the floor. Her opportunities in yesterday’s contest weren’t as plentiful as I might of thought but their team competed in every contest they played so who am I to say anything. I have a feeling that if Fanta can find her niche on this squad and be used in the correct ways, she could shine this AAU season. This also goes for her high school career as well. When she shoots the ball, it’s a thing of beauty and that is something a lot of recruiters will take notice in down the line if they come to watch her compete in any form/facet.
