The Clash is a stop on PGH’s Dynasty Circuit. Teams compete in pools working to build power ratings to position themselves for bracket play at each circuit’s finals event. The competition was very stiff and I enjoyed seeing the high level of talent and competition. After some serious sifting I have carved out all-event teams. 25 players were selected, 10 of which will be on the honorable mention list. Take a look at the five players selected to the first team. All players are class of 2027 unless otherwise noted.
Kianna Littlebear, PG, Team Trae Young 2027 3SSB, Sapulpa (OK) – Littlebear showed good bounce on her mid-range jumper and took good shots from three point land. With strong handles, quick hands and solid speed she was difficult to handle on both ends of the floor. Not often was she taken off the dribble. Littlebear showed good strength pushing temp with down-the-floor passes and touch on entry passes. She was clearly the team’s floor leader. Littlebear was the most dynamic point guard in the event.

2027, Doniphan (MO) – Kirby showed how strong of a two-way player she is. Despite her physical size she defended strongly and with physicality and quickness against the toughest of opposing guards. She showed handles, down-the-floor passing ability to hit teammates on the run and very solid handles. Making her especially tough in the half court was her knock down perimeter ability with a quick release and great release point. Among the best guards at the event boxing out.
