It's a new week, which means more AAU content coming to you this summer. Exciting stuff in this article as we begin to talk about the Connecticut Starters. We'll be doing what we can to give equal representation to AAU programs across the New England region. Below, we'll talk about CT Starters' 2025 Williams team.

[player_tooltip player_id='466833' first='Keira' last='Reynolds'] - Guilford (2025)

Undersized guard at the point for Guilford. She's been able to play both the 1 and the 2 during her high school career, a solid player at both positions. Great leader and commander of the floor, a player that runs the point well and knows how to dictate a game. What she might lack in size, she makes up for in basketball ability and skills. Watching her cross up opponents and drive into the lane is a sight to be seen.

[player_tooltip player_id='449588' first='Emily' last='Knowles'] - Conard (2025)

Another versatile player on this team and slightly undersized as a forward, Knowles has featured both as a shooting guard and small forward. She's a flat-out baller on the floor and it's reflected in her stats as a junior, shooting over 50 percent from the field while scoring more than 24 points a game. Excellent three-point shooter, valuable piece on the defensive end and an all-state, all-region talent.

Isabella 'GiGi' Gracia - St. Joseph (2025)

There's a strong cast of veteran leaders on this team, players that have shown up and shown out on the floor no matter the circumstances. Gracia joins that group and has thrived in big moments so often with St. Joseph. She hits three-pointers with great consistency. Shooters shoot and she shoots often, but complements that with stellar defense and a well-rounded offensive game.

[player_tooltip player_id='987582' first='Courtney' last='McPhee'] - Conard (2025)

McPhee is equal parts great shooter/scorer and passer for Conard. Yes, getting the big basket is important and finding ways to come up clutch offensively is what wins teams games, but those plays happen because of great facilitators and unselfish players. McPhee is just that, incredibly unselfish with great court vision. She knows where to make her move individually, but more importantly, she always knows where her teammates are.

[player_tooltip player_id='301097' first='Catherine' last='Chadwell'] - Loomis Chaffee (2025)

Versatile player, able to play at both the 2 and 3, two places where her skillset has succeeded the most. Just like others on this team, she's known to shoot the three ball. She's done a great job at shooting from distance, but at the same time, her interior play offensively has been stellar. Great awareness of where the basket is to allow her to make plays when she needs to. Cuts really well and has shown ample off-ball movement success.

Lyla D'Errico - Sacred Heart Academy (2025)

We finally are able to get into talking some frontcourt talent on this team. D'Errico is not the biggest body on the floor, which has helped her to be more agile, show more mobility to get in front of defenders and pick off passes, or just make moves offensively toward the basket. She's still incredibly strong and has shown herself to get the tough bucket down low time and time again.

Hannah Blanchard - Southington (2025)

Blanchard has displayed steady growth over the past threw seasons at Southington, going from a bench piece to a bonafide starter and budding star. We're expecting her to take that next step in the fall and winter, using this spring and summer as the proving ground for that growth. Scores in a number of different ways and has showcased a solid foundation on defense.

Ava Stevenson - St. Paul Catholic (2025)

Complementary player on St. Paul over the past few seasons, but someone who we feel like finally has the opportunity in front of her to break out in a big way. Has been part of some state championship-winning teams and has the experience of being in those big situations. That in itself is a big advantage for her, mentality-wise and now, she just has to take that mentality into all-around production during games.

[player_tooltip player_id='492843' first='Kristina' last='Asmani'] - Immaculate (2025)

Asmani is a smaller guard, but a guard that can get it done with the ball in her hands. Fantastic scorer that's played at an all-region, all-area level. Efficient three-point shooter who's shot at a 40+ percent clip during the high school season. Consistent scorer and shooter and as true playmaker, able to turn a game on a dime, flip the momentum in her favor, and ride that momentum to victory.

Mercedes Artaiz - Mercy (2025)

Listed as a forward/post player, Artaiz is certainly undersized down on the post, but that hasn't seemed to phase her at all, recording double-doubles with ease and averaging in double-figures offensively. Impressive player to watch and a fearless player at that, playing loose and free. Artaiz is always ready to cause havoc and make things happen wherever on the floor that may be.
