Lady Rivals has churned out some solid teams over the past few years and once again has a stacked lineup of talent this season. We'll be talking plenty about them this summer, but this latest article discusses their 17U roster. There are two 17U rosters for Lady Rivals, but this one is just the 17U roster, not the one listed as the 17U 3SSB Roster.

[player_tooltip player_id='280910' first='Reagan' last='Ward'] - Pomperaug (2025)

Ward comes from a basketball family. Basketball is truly in her blood and she's proven herself to be a fantastic player over the course of her high school career. That includes her choice of AAU programs over time, playing big-time programs across the country. Fantastic scorer that can turn it on when she needs to. Able to take control of a game on a dime. Really well-rounded player and a bonafide leader among her teammates.

[player_tooltip player_id='288649' first='Madison' last='McCaffery'] - Tilton School (2026)

McCaffrey is a versatile piece for Tilton School, combo guard able to play either at the 1 or the 2, and she plays both positions quite well. Well-balanced guard with the ability to do just about anything on the floor. Successful defensively while able to shoot from deep with efficiency and precision. We really don't think she's someone who fits into the 3&D category because she offers quite a lot across the board.

Sydney Rodgers - North Andover (2025)

Rodgers has a great opportunity in front of her to keep that team captain spot for North Andover next season. As a junior, to get an honor like that shows just how meaningful she's been to the team. Leadership skills are off the charts impressive, something that's grown over time. She made her mark and wants to continue to build off an impressive all-around skillset in her senior year.

Abbie Goff - Cohasset (2025)

Goff is a double-double machine, not surprising for one of the better frontcourt pieces across Massachusetts in the Class of 2025. Able to play the 4 or the 5, she's shown herself to be a versatile player, leading toward plenty of benefits in her game. More agile, more mobile, great touch around the rim, someone who commands the backboard, and someone who allows the offense to flow through her in the paint.

Tahlia Pena - New Hampton (2025)

Successful junior season for Pena with New Hampton, a starter that just missed out on double-digit scoring averages, but showcased herself to be a good passer and equally good rebounder. Pena certainly seems to specialize in the three, shooting it well and shooting it often. She's got great range too, able to pick out just about any spot she wants to on the court to knock down a shot.

[player_tooltip player_id='1238695' first='Charlotte' last='Robichaud'] - Reading Memorial (2025)

If there's one thing that we can take away from Robichaud's game, it's her perimeter shooting. Reading Memorial was smart to continue to use her at the 2/3 spot on the floor, a shooting guard/wing player. Impressive overall skillset as a shooter. Quick, smooth release and very simple shooting mechanics. Not much going on to allow her to generate power and shoot from distance, which is great to see.

[player_tooltip player_id='450355' first='Ella' last='Morgan'] - West Haven (2025)

Morgan is a more than capable big, someone able to make big plays in and around the paint. Very versatile and mobile for a forward, allowing her to intercept passes, lead fast breaks and cause havoc at every turn. Really simple and easy tough around the rim, and an overwhelming presence for opponents around the basket defensively. Her success continues to grow as she shows out on the court.

Addison Pong - Notre Dame Academy (2025)

A scholar athlete and a monster on the court, one of the best pure scorers we've seen in New England in the Class of 2025. You don't just score 22+ points per game, sprinkling in some 30-point performances in the mix, out of nowhere. Pong is a calculated scorer, using her physicality to get into the lane and draw contact. She can knock down shots from anywhere on the floor, adding to her unstoppable nature from her paint presence.

[player_tooltip player_id='491817' first='Noelle' last='Lawrence'] - West Haven (2026)

Teammates with Morgan and quite the outstanding duo on the floor, Lawrence has carved out a nice path for herself as a versatile guard with the ability to score in a plethora of different ways. Impressive movement throughout, allowing her to get to different spots on the court with ease. That's just as helpful offensively as it is defensively, from getting open looks to getting in front of a pass for a turnover.

StevieLeigh Bannon - Holderness (2025)

Bannon knows how to do the little things well, little things like that extra 10% of energy used to grab a rebound before anyone else, go for a loose ball, etc. She'll cross up a defender and take it to the cup or find an open look from three all the same. Her rebounding is really what's impressed us most on tape, keeping possessions alive or starting a fast-break to get a quick basket the other way.

[player_tooltip player_id='302393' first='Samaya' last='Lovett'] - Brooks School (2025)

Tough takes left and right from Lovett on the floor. She's shown herself to be quite the threat offensively when she's driving into the lane. Opponents can try to find ways to stop her from getting shots in the paint, but she's still finding ways to carve up anyone in her way. Lovett has game-changing ability, an ability to take over a game and switch momentum on a dime. Really impressiv
