The 2025 class has had three years at the high school level and will head into their final high school season this fall and winter. There may be one or two more updates before they move on to the next phase of their lives, but we start the rankings update with the incoming seniors today with a top-ten and next-ten article.

Having kids with size who can do multiple things on both ends is irreplaceable. Trotter has the size to play as a five and play with her back to the basket. However, she's more natural as a floor-spacing four who can do some things off the dribble from the perimeter and has excellent touch around the rim. She'll be one of the most intriguing uncommitted kids to follow this summer.

Players like [player_tooltip player_id='448223' first='Anna' last='Terrian'] can affect games while never scoring a point. The IQ Terrian has and how she uses her IQ improves any team she plays for. She's among the best help-side defenders in the state, with her willingness to take charges that can end opposing possessions without a shot. The Pewaukee native is also an excellent catch-and-shoot kid who has shot 40% from the 3-point line in the past. [player_tooltip player_id='448223' first='Anna' last='Terrian'] will join her twin sister, Amy, and suit up for the Michigan State Spartans after they wrap up their high school careers.

The Aalsma family has had a massive hand in the success of the Waupun girls' basketball program, and Lydia has been a part of the Warriors' success in her first three years in high school. Aalsma was a part of the state championship-winning group in 2022 and has slowly earned a more prominent role each year in the program. The high-level multi-sport athlete has been successful everywhere she's been and will be the focal point of the Warriors' offense in the 24-25 season. [player_tooltip player_id='374233' first='Lydia' last='Aalsma'] will follow multiple former standouts in the state and be the next Wisconsin native to play for the St. Thomas Tommies after her time in Waupun comes to a close.

I first saw Warren at an open gym last fall, and it was clear the talent for her to become an elite player was there. The speed, athleticism, and change of direction are enough for her to be a D1 talent. For her, it'll be about putting everything together and playing with a controlled version of the chaotic style of play she has at the point of attack. Her range of where she could end up is as wide as anyone in this class, but when she's at her best, she's fun to watch.

There may not be a more well-rounded frontcourt piece in the class of 2025. Krueger is capable of handling the physicality of high-level post players and steps out and knocks down a few threes whenever her matchup wants to keep a foot or two in the paint. The Kimberly forward has become the best post player in the FVA and has a significant role in her final season as a Papermaker in an attempt to make a deep postseason run and possibly win the FVA for the first time in her career. Krueger will join De Pere standout [player_tooltip player_id='209605' first='Claire' last='Bjorge'] in Duluth in 2025 and be a Bulldog for Minnesota-Duluth.

The defensive impact Nwachukwu has is unmatched by anyone else in this class. The Vel Phillips Memorial forward was the anchor of an impressive Spartan group that nearly upset an undefeated Oregon team to win a regional title this season and have everyone back this coming season. Defensive kids like Nwachukwu change the shot profile that opposing teams want because nobody wants to attack the basket when she's playing on the weak side. She's a late bloomer compared to everyone else in the top 20, but she's someone regional D1s should take a look at.

Athletically, Meuelemans is up there with the best in this class. The Appleton East guard can fly up and down the floor and make plays that few others can with the ball in their hands. She improved her shooting while recovering from a severe knee injury and has looked like one of the top guards in this class when she's at her best. Nobody expects more from themselves than her, and she'll continue to improve when she gets to the next level. She also recently picked up some scholarship offers following the May live period.

Swiss-army knives like Neubauer are valuable no matter the level. Kids like Neubauer can defend inside and out, score inside and out, and have the athleticism to guard high-usage wings. I've loved her game for a while, and she's developed nicely since getting minutes as a sophomore at Appleton East. Her ability to do everything will continue to intrigue coaches at the next level.

The past twelve months of development for Brooks have been incredible. She went from a kid who got a few minutes in AAU last season with a talented group last year to a surefire scholarship talent as we sit and talk today. You can talk all you want about the level of competition in D5, but the level of dominance and production this past season's only bested in my three years by Jorey Buwalda's 21-22 season at Randolph in D5, and that's it. The rise of [player_tooltip player_id='767273' first='Eva' last='Brooks'] will continue through the summer and her senior season at Lena as they look to finish what they couldn't quite finish in March.

Smaller guards have challenges garnering attention in recruiting, but Grant has garnered some D1 interest over the years. The speed and elusiveness Grant has with the ball in her hands allows her to make things happen off the dribble, and with her Playground Elite team, you can see her create for others when she forces defenses to collapse off the dribble. Guards that are difficult to keep in front allow offenses to get into actions with an inherent advantage.
