11 15U teams composed of players from many states including Arkansas, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska and Oklahoma are gathering at Hy-Vee Arena, Kansas City Missouri. All but one team played a pair of games this day one. The other play an extra game Sunday to get their four in. Many players stood out at different points of the day. Take a look at some of them below. Do know that I did not get thorough looks and/or notes on every team. Day two will find me picking up the other teams included below.

[player_tooltip player_id='879360' first='Addison' last='Burns'], 5'11", PF/SF, [program_tooltip program_id='713014' first='MO' last='Legacy'] 2027, Webb City (MO), 2027 - Burns did a nice job of working in full and half court situations with her head up and handles enough to clear steals and rebounds. She has a nice perimeter stroke and will hit beyond the arc. I also liked how she consistently looked to box out when perimeter shots went up.

[player_tooltip player_id='716551' first='Addison' last='Cleghorn'], [program_tooltip program_id='712692' first='Missouri' last='Flight'] 2027, Logan-Rogersville (MO), 2027 - Cleghorn attacked the basket with strength and athleticism and a good first step to set the table to do so.

[player_tooltip player_id='899819' first='Jenna' last='Cox'], 5'11", SF, [program_tooltip program_id='712694' first='Missouri' last='Phenom'] 2027 - St. Joe Boone, Mid-Buchanan (MO), 2028 - Cox was among the top offensive standouts of the first day. A terrific shooter with a great release point, Cox also showed handles to work over a defender, finishing ability with speed with either hand and consistent scoring ability. She is quick enough and has length to defend multiple positions.

Juliana Davenport, Team Trae Young 2027 3SSB, Tahlequah (OK), 2028 - The fast, athletic guard/forward was among the most disruptive defenders I saw all day. Not that she is slow (she is not!) but she appears quicker than she is fast. She also has long arms and plays physically on both ends. With her reach she made life difficult for perimeter players with and without the ball. She is solid knocking down mid-range jumpers.

Audrey Dow, SF, Team Trae Young 2027 Wright, Broken Arrow (OK), 2027 - The slender forward is a rawish talent that just competes on both ends of the floor. She showed a nice step through move and some defensive quickness.

[player_tooltip player_id='890255' first='Taryn' last='Goetz'], SG, Lady PGUHoops 2027, Southeast of Saline (KS), 2027 - The slender guard showed quickness to split defenders and athletic scoring ability in the half court.

Madilyn Hill, Team Trae Young 2027 3SSB, Owasso (OK), 2027 - Hill was the most physical interior player I saw all day. Strong and fast with scoring ability in the paint she posted strongly and called for the ball vocally with good technique. She gives a good target for where she wants to catch the ball. Hill cleared rebounds very well also.

[player_tooltip player_id='932937' first='Amarie' last='Lowery'], 5'4", PG, Lady PGUHoops 2027, McPherson (KS), 2027 - The strongly built [player_tooltip player_id='896917' first='Lowery' last=''] showed quickness on both ends and an ability to set very solid screens. Running the show she does a nice job of surveying the floor, attacking weakness and finding teammates with the pass.

[player_tooltip player_id='910377' first='Macy' last='Schroering'], 5'10", PF, [program_tooltip program_id='715643' first='Kansas' last='Elite'] 2027 Halliday, Blue Valley Northwest (KS), 2027 - Several things Schroering showed was athleticism, solid transition speed, hops, and a very good head and shoulder fake to create driving opportunities. She also showed good upper body strength.

[player_tooltip player_id='898858' first='Hailey' last='Schmidtlein'], 5'11", PF, [program_tooltip program_id='712694' first='Missouri' last='Phenom'] 2028 - Topeka, Hayden (KS), 2027 - The long-limbed forward consistently shot passing lanes, quickness handling the ball and smooth footwork in the block area.

[player_tooltip player_id='836278' first='Alexa' last='Splechter'], PG, [program_tooltip program_id='715643' first='Kansas' last='Elite'] 2027 Halliday, Burlington (KS), 2027 - Splechter ran the point with solid handles but something I really liked is her directing traffic ability. She showed consistent quickness on both ends.

Navaeh Triplett, CG, [program_tooltip program_id='713014' first='MO' last='Legacy'] 2027, 2027 - Triplett showed consistent end changing ability as well as quickness with the ball, especially in the high lane area.
