They were the youngest athletes competing in the tournament, but they bought the most excitement from start to finish. There were numerous highlight reels and plays that left you wondering if these really were middle school athletes. Here are the athletes that stood out on Day 1.
Dixon is a playmaker in all aspects of the game. She has the ability to score at will but loves to get her teammates involved. Not afraid to put her head down and attack the basket hard. She can keep you off balance with her ability to shoot the 3 or get to the basket. She ended up with 14 points in her game against Peak Performance .
Highlights
Harris was probably one of the best ball handlers I saw on the day. She knows how to get to the rim and finish through contact. A player that I call a highlight reel as she wows you with her ability to score at will. A player that sees the floor and can knock it down from anywhere on the court. She finished Game 1 with 15 points and a host of assists.

Kennedy Smith Kennedy Smith 5’4″ | PG Mount Paran Christian School | 2028 GA had one of the top scoring games on the day finishing with 26 points against a tough I Beat A.L.L team. Her ability to score at all 3 levels left her defenders wondering how to guard her. She has the speed to blow by her defenders and finish at the rim with either hand. Not afraid to pick up 94 ft to create turnovers.
Highlights
Forts had a dominant performance once she got going on the day. Her strong frame allows her to finish through contact and rebound with the best of them. Here ability to catch the ball at the high post and rip to get to the rim is what stood out the most. She was automatic inside the paint finishing with 16 points and 12 rebounds vs North Metro Elite .

Ghant is a game changer and knows how to do it from anywhere on the court. Her handles allow her to get downhill quickly and put pressure on her defenders. A player that has one of the best mid-range games but can also shoot the deep 3 ball. She finished with 16 points in her match up against Tallahassee Thunder .

Madisyn Frazier Madisyn Frazier GA
Frazier size and length create matchup problems as she is able to rise up and shoot over her defenders. A player that loves to get out in transition at score at will in the paint. Not afraid to post up the smaller defenders but also step out and shoot the mid-range jump shot. She finished with 12 points against Tallahassee Thunder .
