“Juice” was the main squeeze from deep for AEBL in two blowout wins to open Peach Games. DeWitt cashed in on five threes off the catch. Alana has a fluid release on her jumper and the length to guard multiple positions on the perimeter. When ran off the line, DeWitt scored with both hands at the rim. She tallied 12 points, 4 rebounds, 1 assist and 3 steals against the Alabama Twisters before netting 11 points, 3 rebounds, 1 assist and 1 steal vs. the SC Eagles.
2028 5-2 PG Makenzie Weaver Makenzie Weaver 5'1" | PG Holy Innocents Episcopal School | 2028 GA – AEBL 3SSB 2027 – Holy Innocents’
Even though she was the smallest player on the floor, Makenzie Weaver Makenzie Weaver 5'1" | PG Holy Innocents Episcopal School | 2028 GA found her niche when it came to impacting games. The jitterbug used her speed and tenacity to pick up 94-feet, frustrating opponents as she turned them over. In two games, Weaver collected a total of 10 steals. Offensively, Makenzie knocked down three threes both off the catch and off the dribble. Weaver averaged 11 points, 2 rebounds, 3 assists and 5 steals, setting the tone with her defense.
2028 5-8 G Jazmin Maddox Jazmin Maddox 5'9" | SG Jasper County Highschool | 2028 GA – AEBL 3SSB 2027 – Jasper County
Jasper County has a program changer coming in in the form of Jazmin Maddox Jazmin Maddox 5'9" | SG Jasper County Highschool | 2028 GA . Expect the Hurricanes to improve upon their five-win season as the incoming freshman will control the majority of the action and should be the go-to guy from Day 1. I loved her athleticism and activity. Jazmin is wiry and plays with a high motor. She effectively uses her length to deflect passes and get out in transition. In the open court, Maddox blows past opponents with her speedy stride. While she thrives in transition, Jazmin is more than just a top-notch athlete. She has a pretty three-point shot with a high arc. Over two games, Maddox posted 9 points, 5 rebounds, 2 assists, 3 steals and 1 block per game.
2027 5-7 G Elisa Malone – AEBL 3SSB 2027 – Marietta
Elisa exploded in Game 2 against the SC Eagles, sinking five threes as she finished with 15 points, 3 rebounds, 3 assists, 4 steals and 1 block. Malone buried four threes from the corners as she made the defense pay for their slow rotations. Listed at 5-foot-7, Malone has a knack for playing bigger than her size. She isn’t afraid to come in to rebound and has active hands on defense.
2027 5-6 G Savannah Aparicio Savannah Aparicio 5'8" | PG Etowah | 2027 State GA – AEBL 3SSB 2027 – Etowah
I really liked the cool floor game of Savannah. She dictated the action throughout the morning, calmly getting her teammates involved all while filling up the stat sheet. Over her two games, Aparicio averaged 10.5 points, 5.5 rebounds, 5.5 assists, 1.5 steals and 0.5 blocks. Savannah was the trusty engine that made AEBL go. While she may not have been the fastest guard in a stacked backcourt, Aparicio’s thinking approach to the game made her wildly effective as she sliced up the defense with her passing and scored from all levels.
2026 5-6 PG Devin Bockman Devin Bockman 5'6" | PG Midtown | 2026 State GA – HoopAtlanta – Midtown
If she somehow isn’t already, Devin Bockman Devin Bockman 5'6" | PG Midtown | 2026 State GA should be a household name in Georgia’s 2026 class. The reliable point guard delivered once again in a 44-38 win over AEBL Gold 2026, pouring in 17 points, 3 rebounds, 2 assists and 1 steal. Bockman excels at getting to her spots. She’s a lethal shooter off the dribble from both the mid-range and three-point line. Bockman cashed in on three triples and used a quick first step to get downhill. Devin is comfortable as a one-man press breaker, able to split traps to advance the ball into the front court, all while avoiding over dribbling. Devin’s rise has just begun.
2026 5-10 F Eva Russell Eva Russell 5'10" | PF St. Pius X | 2026 State GA – HoopAtlanta – St. Pius X
Eva hustled her way to 13 points, 6 rebounds, 2 assists and 1 steal in HoopAtlanta’s AM win. Russell is a good athlete that has the footspeed to play on the perimeter but also inside with her height and quickness off the floor. She finished exceptionally well around the basket, scoring in transition both by filling the lanes and by taking it herself. Eva has nice tools to work with over her final two seasons.
2026 5-9 G Kennedy Bradshaw Kennedy Bradshaw 5'10" | SG CFCA | 2026 GA – AEBL Gold 2026 – Central Fellowship Christian
I came away impressed with the big guard’s outside shooting. The southpaw drilled four threes as she carried AEBL to a near come from behind victory. Bradshaw has versatility along the perimeter. She did a nice job defending inside and out and was helpful on the glass as she tallied 16 points, 4 rebounds, 4 steals and 1 block.
