The Heart of the Lady Gaters: A Look at Their Key Players

Gabrielle Matthews is a talented guard who makes those around her even better. She can shoot the three, she can score in the midrange, and she pushes the basketball in transition for the Lady Gaters. Matthews is a strong player with the ability to get to the foul line multiple times per contest. She does more than score, however. She is skilled, she is strong, and she plays hard for the Lady Gaters. Noworol runs the floor with the guards and scores well with either hand. When she collects a rebound, Noworol runs hard in transition. Additionally, she can handle the basketball on the perimeter. Noworol is a Division 1 talent that only continues to get better on the court.     Haley Ricketts is an efficient player. She can score around the rim, from the free throw line, or from the three. She has a nice outside shot and a quick release as well. Ricketts is an unselfish player who is willing to pass ahead to her teammates in the open court or to feed the Gater post players. On defense, Ricketts is a force. She will create multiple deflections and steals each game.     Gracie Beane has a picture-perfect outside shot. She will drain multiple three-point field goals each game for the Lady Gaters. Beane also can weave through the defense and score at the rim. She is an exceptional athlete with tremendous speed and jumping ability. Beane is also a competitor on defense. She will block shots, take charges, force steals, and help her teammates in the paint. Beane is a special player who continues to get even better.     Kimora Haith is an explosive guard who makes positive things happen for her team. She attacks the rim with a super-quick first step. Haith will shoot multiple free throws for the Lady Gaters each game. She will score, get fouled, or score and get fouled on the drive. Haith is a strong guard who is not afraid of contact. Haith is also a team player. She is a willing rebounder on both ends. Additionally, Haith is an aggressive defender. She pressures the basketball with urgency and shoots passing lanes for easy points.
