<p>Today's scouting report looks at five unraked guards from the Kansas Class of 2027 who played often and early for their respective prep teams.</p>

<p>A couple scored well from deep, while others were among the state's assist leaders. Each of them logged important minutes during their freshman campaigns.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='932989' first='Mia' last='Vinson']</strong>, 5'6”, SG/SF, Heritage Christian Academy, ‘27</p>

<p>Vinson had a solid freshman season. She averaged 9.1 points per game and PGH's Robert Kelly had her as an honorable mention member of his Class 3A State Tournament squad. She can score from deep successfully making 22 three-point field goals in 24 games. She is an unselfish player who contributed 2.8 rebounds, 2.4 assists, and 2.5 steals per contest for the Chargers.</p>

<p><strong>Auna Walton</strong>, 5'7”, SG, Reno County Homeschool, ‘27</p>

<p>Walton is a young guard who is currently unranked. She played in 19 games for the Sabres, a home-school team out of Hutchinson. Walton averaged 5.5 points and 4.3 rebounds per game as a freshman.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1057437' first='Mia' last='Burrows']</strong>, 5'5”, SG, Satanta, ‘27</p>

<p>The Satanta Indians have a spark-plug guard to keep an eye on. Burrows played an impressive 31-pus minutes per game as a freshman. She averaged 4.6 points and 4.5 rebounds per game. She was a selective shooter, but look for her to score more as she becomes more experienced.</p>

<p>Wyandotte's Burton was among the leaders in assists for freshmen. She dished the ball to her Bulldog teammates to record 2.5 assists per contest. She has a physical frame for a guard and utilizes that strength to create turnovers and crash the boards. She averaged 3.6 steals and 3.3 defensive rebounds per contest for Wyandotte. Burton scored 4.6 points per game as freshmen</p>

<p><strong>Ava Brummer</strong>, 5'5”, PG, St. John's-Tipton, ‘27</p>

<p>Brummer played in 21 games as a freshman for the Blujays. She chipped in several different ways for the private school squad. She averaged 4.9 points, 2.9 rebounds, 2.2 steals, and over one assist per game. She has quick feet and makes smart choices on the floor.</p>
