Many of Michigan’s best prospects and teams came out to compete with college coaches and media evaluating in the gym. Here are a few of the prospects who caught my attention on Saturday.
Sophia handled the ball effectively under pressure for Dewitt at BCAM Reaching Higher. She keeps the ball close to her body and creates separation using a variety of crossover and attack dribbles. Sophia accelerated past defenders to score an and-one layup. She beat her defender off the dribble to score another bucket at the rim and did so against elite, athletic guards.
Highlights
Kadyn was one of the most impressive overall performers at BCAM Reaching Higher this weekend. She attacked downhill with her dribble and used an impressive spin dribble to score off two with her left. Kadyn knocked down many 3s from different spots and elevated under control to block shots in the paint. She scored off two after stealing the ball and created shots for teammates by driving into help and kicking the ball out. Kadyn is a complete prospect under the radar right now.

Ayla Stager stood out as a dynamic forward prospect for Saline at BCAM Reaching Higher. She blocked shots in the paint and scored a sweet high rip finish off two feet in transition. Ayla pushes the ball with both hands in transition off defensive rebounds and scored offensive rebound putbacks. She used her dribble to score off two at the rim and buried a pull-up jumper in the paint.
Tara used her quickness and toughness to make impact plays for Dewitt at BCAM Reaching Higher. She scored contested buckets off two in the paint and blew by her defender off the dribble to score a full-speed layup at the rim.
Highlights
Morgan is a shifty guard with three-level scoring abilities that made her tough to guard for opponents at BCAM Reaching Higher. She flies in transition, scoring an and-one layup through contact. Morgan drilled a wing 3 and used a crossover move to beat her defender and score a smooth scoop layup full speed.
Highlights
Kylie was a clutch performer Friday for Howell at BCAM Reaching Higher and she continued to shine on Saturday. Kylie knocked down multiple 3s from the corner and put her foot down to blow by her defender off the dribble and score full speed at the rim. She stole the ball away and attacked with her drive into a jump stop, then made the extra pass for an assist. Kylie made great passes and smart decisions with the ball, while working hard on the defensive end.
