I have three more articles to throw up before July. Coincidentally, all of the articles will be looking ahead to July. Today, we'll talk about the most intriguing class in the state and the ones who were just allowed to receive direct contact from college coaches, the 2026s.

[player_tooltip player_id='533062' first='Tay' last='Maass']

The mentality is where you'd want it to be from a post-player. Maass wants to find contact and can play through any contact. While playing for guard-oriented teams, Maass may not get the credit she deserves, but she sets a physical tone every time I see her play. She may not have stats that show she's one of the top post kids in her class, but Maass wears teams down over a game, and she's probably not the most fun kid to play against.

[player_tooltip player_id='509716' first='Sage' last='Miskel']

I'm curious to see where recruiting will lead Miskel. I've always loved her ability to create off the dribble and that she was a significant reason Whitefish Bay had as successful of a season as they did in Miskel's first season. She can create good shots for her teammates and put pressure on defenses going downhill. She's been a kid that the Blue Dukes could rely on at the point of attack for the past two seasons and will continue to be valuable for the next two years. She could have an intriguing July with Midwest Elite's 16U EYBL team.

[player_tooltip player_id='766616' first='Maddie' last='Chabot']

The Pewaukee Pirate was a valuable addition this past season. She's a lengthy frontcourt kid who added a dimension they didn't have before she arrived. Chabot had massive moments throughout the season by knocking down shots or being a deterrent. She's an intriguing prospect because she does have some touch around the basket and can step out and knock down some perimeter shots. On the defensive end, there is some switchability to her game, and when she gets to the next level and plays with a shot clock, she'll be able to keep defenders in front of her for a dribble or two, along with her ability to alter shots around the basket.

[player_tooltip player_id='509694' first='Ellie' last='Buss']

Shooting is the thing that'll stick out for Buss when you watch her. She can knock down shots beyond the college line and does a solid job getting downhill when people close out on her. She's improved her ball handling and has gotten more comfortable attacking the basket off the dribble and making plays off the bounce. She's garnered some D2 interest and offers over the past year or so, and I'd assume there will continue to be interested in her based on her ability to shoot, if nothing else.
