Jordyn is a guard who effectively runs the point and has proved to be an effective offensive player off the ball. She is well respected as an elite high school player receiving BCAM Best honors the past two seasons. Jordyn has continued her dominance during the Grassroots season with [program_tooltip program_id='713442' first='MBA' last='UAA'] against elite college-level competition. She has the ball-handling skills to create space and attack with her drives, while also moving the ball as an excellent passer. Jordyn disrupts shot attempts on defense and has the outside shooting efficiency to take over games from beyond the arc. Jordyn currently holds LM to MM D1 offers and has earned recognition as one of Michigan's best combo-guard prospects.

There is a chance you missed Kaylynn this past high school and Grassroots season, but we did not. Kaylynn wears golden shoes on the court and she had the Midas touch all spring. She is consistently a top performer in tournaments and earns extra attention from the opposing team's best defender. An opposing travel coach told me that she came directly from football practice prior to a game and then showed no signs of frustration while being guarded by a double team. Kaylynn has an extremely high ceiling because of her athleticism, height as a CG, and ability to shoot accurately off the dribble. Her attack dribbles are advanced, and she shoots with excellent balance off the dribble. There are very few guards who can stop her from creating space for a shot or driving to the basket. Kaylynn causes many turnovers using her vertical and length. She dominated a high school game that I watched in person and confirmed what I believed about her game with a dominant Grassroots season.

Jakiah made a great impression during the high school season with her aggressive on-ball defense, effective passing abilities, and outside shooting. Jakiah earned All-Big North Conference First Team honors with an outstanding high school campaign. She has earned high marks from our staff across the board by performing at an elite level against college-level comp all spring. Jakiah creates space with her dribble to shoot or move the ball around in the offense; she is an exceptional post-entry passer. Jakiah is a competitor with extreme toughness and has earned recognition by our staff as one of Michigan's best combo-guard prospects.

Grace has shown the versatility to excel as the point or knock down shots off the ball during the high school and Grassroots season. She earned Wolverine Conference All-Conference Second Team honors, averaging 15.2 pts, 3.8 rebs, 2.7 steals, and 3.3 assists per game to help lead Paw Paw to their best season in years. Grace is an efficient 3-point shooter, but has the burst on her drives to attack downhill and finish at the rim. She is strong and muscles her way into position for offensive rebounds; she competes with determination and a high motor on both ends. Grace demonstrated next-level abilities and toughness in front of our scouts against top-shelf prospects this spring and earned recognition as one of our top guards prospects.

[player_tooltip player_id='908941' first='Tiareyona' last='Holmes']-5-10-Pride 21 Basketball-Bay City Central

[player_tooltip player_id='908941' first='Tiareyona' last='Holmes'] is a combo-guard prospect who I have been impressed by since I first coached against her in July of 2022: she has only gotten better. Tiareyona is a gamer, a playmaker, and with her height and athleticism, she is an excellent next-level prospect. At Bay City Central last winter she was the heart and soul of that team leading them offensively, despite receiving constant attention from the opposing team's best defenders. When Tiareyona competes to her maximum potential and full focus she is nearly unstoppable. Tiareyona has developed her outside shooting accuracy and can take over games from beyond the arc using long pushouts and step-backs to fire shots over defenders. Tiareyona has quickness and strength as a slasher to score at the rim. She blocks shots and produces rebounds for her team. Tiareyona was voted SVL All-Conference 2nd Team by the coaches, which demonstrates the level of respect we all had for her as a top talent in our conference. Tiareyona has earned her ranking as a college-level guard prospect and is someone colleges should be watching moving forward.

[player_tooltip player_id='902910' first='Emily' last='Jokela']-5-5-Zero Star Basketball-Linden Lake-Hubbell

[player_tooltip player_id='902910' first='Emily' last='Jokela'] is a yooper hooper who has set new standards of excellence at the high school level. She has scored more points than any high school basketball player at Linden Lake-Hubbell (1,400+) and she did so during her junior season. Emily earned honors for her dominance with an All-UP D4 First Team selection. It was at our PGH Live! tournament in person where I saw how great a prospect Emily is. She has shifty handles and combo-attack moves to create space and score with a variety of finishing moves at the rim. Emily is an effective shooter from beyond the arc and reverses the ball with accurate passes. She makes smart choices with the ball and shoots with balance off the bounce. Emily scores with strength through contact and is well deserving of not only making our rankings but also being listed where she is as a quality college prospect.

Northern Michigan knows how good [player_tooltip player_id='919127' first='June' last='Kirkpatrick'] is and word has reached our scouts in southern Michigan. June was voted All-Lake Michigan Conference First Team this season after earning HM as a sophomore. She is lengthy with a dynamic game that makes her effective inside and on the perimeter. June has the passing abilities and vision of a phenomenal point guard, while also demonstrating knockdown shooting efficiency beyond 3. June utilizes a combination of attack dribbles to create space and her long strides make it challenging for guards to defend her. She has excellent footwork and touch to score from different angles off one or two feet around the basket. June is a fantastic next-level prospect who I expect to see recruited heavily moving forward.
