George Rogers Clark hosted the Bluegrass Cardinal Classic Girls High School Scholastic Event on June 13th and June 14th. This event featured 56 teams in total from across Kentucky, Ohio, Tennessee, and West Virginia. The level of talent on display all at once at all 5 locations was amazing to see. I also noticed college coaches from D-I, D-II, D-III, NAIA, and JUCO schools seated in the assigned coaches sections to get a look at current prospects on their radar and future prospects to recruit.

[player_tooltip player_id='688046' first='Kadence' last='Livers'] 2025 Bardstown

Kadence was impressive against Ballard. She was in total command of the offense, displayed leadership running the point, and kept the defense on their heels by pushing the pace. Did a good job getting to the basket and knocking down shots from deep. Hit 4 triples in the game. She also used active hands on defense to deflect passes and create turnovers.

[player_tooltip player_id='555979' first='Ariana' last='Adams'] 2025 Fleming County

Ariana was a force in the interior in a back-and-forth battle against Greenwood. She displayed really good footwork down low and used her powerful frame to finish inside with defenders draped all over her. She has great mobility for her size, and impressed me with her ability to hit shots from behind the 3-point line. Picked up an offer from Campbellsville University Harrodsburg.

[player_tooltip player_id='376806' first='Teigh' last='Yeast'] 2026 GRC

Teigh played well on both ends of the floor against Clarksville Christian. Her outside shooting looked much improved as she knocked down back-to-back 3-pointers early in the game. She came up with steals, made nice lead passes to teammates on the fast break, and did a good job getting back on defense. Picked up her 5th offer from Northern Kentucky.

[player_tooltip player_id='991524' first='Olivia' last='Pifer'] 2025 Mercy

Olivia was a pest on the defensive end in the morning game against Paintsville. She has a nose for the ball and did a excellent job jumping passing lanes to get steals. She also ran the floor well and made herself available to get a bucket in transition.

Eliza Howard 2027 Paintsville

Eliza looked good as the lead guard and orchestrated the offense very well. She is a great facilitator with impressive court-vision and excellent ball handling skills that she used to penetrate the defense and kick it out to open shooters on the perimeter.

Kendall Taylor 2026 Ballard

Kendall's strong frame and athletic build allowed her to move bodies in the paint and gain leverage for rebounds. She is versatile on offense, scored at will within 10 feet from the basket, showed she can attack off the dribble, and has enough range to step-out and make 3's.

Allison Hardin 2027 John Hardin

Allison was undersized against Walton-Verona but she played physical and held her own in the post. She is a solid shooter from the mid-range, scores very well around the rim, and knows how to create contact and convert at the free throw line. I was pleased with her effort on both ends of the floor.
