I had a chance to catch several players go off in front of me from long range on both Saturday and Sunday, the Rodriguez and Yanover show was amazing but here ya go
Rodriguez is heady and plays under control and I have always enjoyed her ability to get hers “in the flow”. She does what she does, very well, and one of those things is her willingness to take the shot under pressure yet more importantly is her consistently dropping it from mid to long-range and over the weekend, she continued her torrid shooting in every game I have caught her dropping over 50% from BTA

Lilah Yanover
Lilah Yanover
Yanover caught my eye a few years ago ironically at #AllEyezOnMe and was named one of the MVPs from the event so watching her dropping it every way imaginable on both days had me smiling. She can create her shot as well as creating separation including showing the step back was solid. Her quick-release from mid to long-range, as well as her stop and pop in transition, created some problems as did her acrobatic finishes
Carly Gonzales
Carly Gonzales
Gonzales seemed to be dropping it from deep every time I passed a court that she was on yet when I had a chance to catch her team in my rotation, she gave me an eyeful starting with coming from out of nowhere to rebound and falling into that double-double waiting to happen group. She also showed good timing to block, alter, and (or) deflect shots but peep this, I counted 6 from BTA and 2 or 3 rimmed out but I might have missed some because I blinked
Khylie Busto

Busto grabbed my attention from afar and I mentioned something in a TWEET which is why I am a REAL EVALUATOR. I always try to position myself to see multiple games and I saw how she created her shot and released it so as I was moving towards her court, ratatat tat they dropped one after another. I counted 5, not sure how many I missed but she’s going to make some noise as the years go by
Kassandra Vela
Kassandra Vela
Vela gave me plenty and let me start with her being a #sizedontmatter guard because she showed me she could flat-out play. Watching her handle the ball under pressure as well as zig-zagging through traffic was nice but so was her crossover. She saw the floor through a microscope and threaded the needle to give her teammates scoring opportunities but she also unthreaded the nets as her stop and pop, as well as pull-up jumpers from mid to long-range, were smoking
Hoadley has become more aggressive and offensive-minded over the years and her ability to get to her spot, which changes frequently, and shows that she can get her shot off is nice yet even nicer is seeing her nail it with a hand in her face from mis to long-range. She also scored off the dribble and finished strongly after contact but her pressure shooting from deep in the clutch was nice
Peiffer also goes by her nickname ” KP” which is also an acronym for “keep popping” as she has been one of the most consistent shooters I have personally had my eyes on for the past 2 seasons. I enjoy watching her create her shot under pressure as well as dropping it while being defended but her ability to mix it up to score off the dribble gives her options and keeps the defenders on their toes which was happening over the weekend

Seitz is one of the toughest players in the state and watching her “concentration” when she shoots the ball and knows she’s about to be hit keeps getting better and puts her in potential 4-point plays. I’m not sure if that happened over the weekend yet I did see her dropping it from mid to long-range every chance I caught her but her finishing after contact also counted as 3-pointers

Sodek closed out the event with one of the best individual scoring performances I have seen in quite some time when it counted and by that, I mean in the championship game against a COMPETIVE team. Down the stretch, she scored her team’s last 18 points, 5 from BTA and another 3 the old-fashioned way, an and-one yet her being long and able to elevate on her jumper creates some issues
I usually take Mondays off after returning from the TJ Showcase because I'm drained and part of that drainage started Friday when over 60 players attended the #AllEyezOnMe Individual Showcase. I stress this over and over, be where I can see you because I haven't mastered teleportation and sending me information about events all across the country probably won't work so one more time, this is the link to where I'll be
