Summer Rankings Update: 2025 SGs

After a quick three years, these rising Seniors are entering the home stretch of their recruiting, and by the time we reach the September rankings update, I'd anticipate a number of additional commitments to come our way for this group. Below are a "<em>FAST FIVE</em>" look at some quick notes on the shooting guard group in 2025, followed by the positional rankings for the ladies located in our new Top-100 overall for 2025.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>- When she's at events populated by a number of the state's top prospects, I probably get the "who is that?" question about <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='295767' first='Avah' last='Montgomery']</strong> more than anyone else in 2025. She has such a smooth, skillful game, and she is consistently productive. She has touch from the perimeter and the ability to get to the rim and finish, but it's her mid-range pull-up that is toughest to stop. She can score it in bunches, plus she is an active and crafty defender.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>- I feel like <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='366803' first='Lindsey' last='Van Dyke']</strong> carries so much value because she does so many things well. She isn't a specialist like a lot of players, and she can play multiple positions/roles. She is capable of scoring it from anywhere inside of 20-feet, she can shoot, attack, and create &amp; distribute, plus she's a tough-nosed rebounder/defender.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>- Another player somewhat under-recruited is <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='366794' first='Madi' last='Allen']</strong> from North Decatur. She is a really nice athlete, with broad shoulders, length, speed, and a little bounce to her. She plays with an outstanding motor, and she can do a little of everything pretty well. She handles it for the Chargers, plus she can score, rebound, and defend her position.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>- I have yet to see <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='366798' first='Jalyn' last='Davidson']</strong> on the grassroots circuit this Spring, but she was at the IBCA Top-100, and she played pretty well. She has nice length, some speed, and fluid athleticism. She has the ability to handle it and run offense, but she is a programmed shooter/scorer. She can fill it up from all over, plus she's active defensively.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>- Bremen's <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='570388' first='Kila' last='Foster']</strong> is another one who I haven't seen yet this Spring, but she too attended the Top-100. She is a long and wiry guard, she has some quickness, and she is an accurate perimeter shooter when she's able to get her feet set and find rhythm.
