The final Dynasty Region, Prep Girls Hoops Circuit event was held this past weekend at Andover, Kansas', Farha YMCA. Eight teams from Colorado, Kansas, Missouri and Oklahoma composed the 14U field at the Battle in the Sunflower. Below are the all-event teams for the division. Congratulations not only go out to the players selected to the teams but also to [program_tooltip program_id='713285' first='Dukes' last='Elite']'s 2028 and 2030 teams for going 4-0. The latter won a thriller against Next Generation Queens on Sunday to complete their undefeated weekend. Unfortunately a full consideration of the latter's team members for all-event teams was limited by unavailability of full roster information.

First Team

Emma Anderson, 5'8", CG/SF, [program_tooltip program_id='713285' first='Dukes' last='Elite'] 2028, Willard (MO), 2028 - Anderson was impressive as a creator. She showed good vision in transition and in the half court. Anderson consistently used delayed head and shoulder fakes and her quality handles to draw help. She would the punish the help with smar dishes to the open teammate.

[player_tooltip player_id='931513' first='Madelyn' last='Martin'], 5'6", PG, [program_tooltip program_id='713285' first='Dukes' last='Elite'] 2028, Willard (MO), 2028 - Martin showed herself to have quick, fluid handles and an ability to thread through defenders with the dribble. She found ways to get to the hoop and hit open teammates.

Bella Groves, PG, [program_tooltip program_id='712692' first='Missouri' last='Flight'] 2028, Willard (MO), 2028 - Groves was the among the most dynamic lead guards in the division. Not only did she knock down perimeter shots with regularity but also showed very good transition vision. Not very do I come across players who cover a lot of ground with very few dribbles and Groves does it consistently well.

[player_tooltip player_id='939142' first='Amiley' last='Lewis'], PG, Next Generation Queens 2028, Hugoton (KS), 2028 - Lewis played the point at a very high level, showing a really good feel. She attacked physical defenders off the bounce and showed a very good change of pace in transition. Finishing through contact she collected numerous three point plays with her good free throw shooting. On the other end stronger guards got a rude awakening with her headiness and quick feet.

Bailey Dotson, 5'7", CG/SF, Team Price 2028, Pioneer (OK), 2028 - While she at times got ahead of herself on the break Dotson showed an ability to handle with speed and get to the hole quickly. With solid size at the position she used her quickness to make her an effective mid-range scorer.

Second Team

[player_tooltip player_id='931512' first='Presley' last='Henderson'], 4'10", PG, [program_tooltip program_id='713285' first='Dukes' last='Elite'] 2030, Skyline MS (MO), 2031 - Henderson probably was the smallest player at the event on the youngest team, a team that was taken to overtime before outlasting Next Generation Queens to finish 4-0. Henderson played a solid role off the bench. She displayed solid handles, speed and quickness and above all poise.

Brieley Scott, 5'7", SF, Enid Lady Elite, Fairview (OK), 2029 - The slender forward showed decent speed with ball and good bounce on one-dribble moves. She showed athleticism clearing rebounds and on finishes. She also was a perimeter threat on the wings.

Kinason Scrieber, 5'8", PF/SF, Lady Legacy 2028, Kremlin-Hillsdale (OK), 2028 - Scrieber was an important piece of the Lady Legacy offense with her length and ability to work from the high post area to create shots. She drove well, created three point play opportunities and knocked down her free throws.

Marylynn Gil, SF, [program_tooltip program_id='712692' first='Missouri' last='Flight'] 2028, Seneca (MO), 2028 - Gil jumped to the ball well rebounding and cleared them well with the dribble. I really liked how well she worked in transition with purpose. Running lanes well on breaks she spotted and canned three point shots. She also caught and gathered well near the hoop to get scores.

Leilani Gordon, 5'8", SG, P.L.U.T.O. Prospects 2028, St. Mary's (CO), 2028 - Gordon was among the event's top passers. Whether in transition or in the half court Gordon showed very good vision and an ability to make quick, accurate and catchable passes while on the move.
