Sophie is a canny shooter offering great intangibles from the guard position. Sophie has a great motor that helps aid her natural skilled ability. She is a dead-eyed shooter that gets great lift on her shot and she does an excellent job relocating within the offense. She isn't afraid to let the ball fly when it's swung to her, but at the same time, does a considerable job of not forcing shots when hot. Mahar hits the wings wide in transition as well as filling in the lane swiftly in other scenarios which makes her a wonderful option in transition. Her passing is an overlooked attribute that allows her to be better. Sophie gets off the ball quickly and frequently makes the right play. Mahar plays with an upbeat pace that can help aid her ability to be a microwave scorer when she gets going. Sophie's sharpshooting ability along with her ability to contribute to other roles further legitimize her as a serious talent to check out.

Jasmine Becotte (2025) | 5'10 Wing | MCW Starz

Jasmine Becotte is a terrific all-around talent that adds value to her team in a bunch of ways. Becotte has a solid in-between game where she finds herself getting a lot of her points. A valid pull up jump shooter that offers some creation off the dribble when things break down. What is most exciting about Jasmine's game is her crafty footwork mixed with hand-eye coordination on her finishes. She's able to use textbook and nonconventional movements to finish full extension layups, regardless of the angle or degree of difficulty in tight spaces. Jasmine has a knack for finding ways to put the ball in the rim. Becotte is also an excellent rebounder at her position. She will come flying in from the perimeter to crash the glass at full speed on both ends of the floor. A strong base and a tight grip allow her to secure boards amongst the biggest of opponents. Jasmine is a strong help-side defender and shows true promise on the perimeter too. Expect her to hustle and fight for every possession when she is on the floor. Becotte is a player many coaches could use on their team.

Brianna McDermott (2025) | 5'6 PG | Riverside Hawks

Brianna McDermott is one of the most exciting true point guards around. The 2025 Greenwich Country Day star is a dynamic talent that has a ton of essential qualities in her game. McDermott can score with the best of them, but she uses her scoring ability to create for others. She excels running offense in the halfcourt and she pushes the pace in transition. As a floor general, she is able to exercise all available options that arise as the offense develops. Any defender that tries to crowd Brianna is held off with her tight handle. She isn't afraid to back defenders off with a flurry of quick moves to create space for herself while she is running the offense. Brianna sports a pleasant 3-point shot that she uses to keep the defense honest. If defenders do happen to fall back off her, she will not hesitate to shoot the open shot. McDermott's passes are high-level and meticulous too. She seems to always make the right pass when playmaking on the fly. Brianna is able to hit different options because of her patience and ability to hit all targets as the play evolves. Defensively, McDermott uses her slippery nature to get in the way and become a pest for ballhandlers. In total, Brianna is one of the players to be wary of.

Molly is a lengthy and tenacious wing with strong 3 & D capabilities. She brings a ton of energy to each game. Donovan is like the connecting piece of the puzzle that has been missing. She has a great 3-point shot with a smooth follow through. Not just a catch and shoot type, but she can also shoot the 3. Donovan shows the skill as a shooter to put the ball on the floor when needed to create separation as defenders fly by or to regather herself. Donovan uses her extended strides to lead her to nice straight line drive baskets. Molly finds other ways to get open by cutting to where the open space is when the play breaks down. She tends to make the right play and is positively contributing to her team's success. Making the extra pass or making a play on the defensive end is a normal staple in Molly's game. Donovan is that wing defender that can guard head up or by picking up players in transition. She's able to pick up players in transition on the fly which helps aid her defensive ability to stop early offense. Her capacity as a wing defender to get blocks is really a standout part of her game. Donovan is constantly getting her hands on the ball and being a nuisance on defense. As Bay State is in their final stretch of live period play, expect Molly to receive some attention from more schools.

Saige is more of the prototypical and pass first point guard. Shes also a scorer's best friend. Youngberg has impeccable passing skills that hit her teammates accurately on the move as well as hitting stationary shooters in their pocket. The rotation she gets on full court passes is a sight to be seen. A truly magnificent passer that loves to get others involved throughout the game. She spreads the ball around the floor evenly and runs through her sets which allows for all the options to unfold. Youngberg uses her quick foot speed to outrun defenders to get to her spots, never overdribbling the ball. She is also a precise 3-point shooter that can let it fly from deep. Saige is a prominent defender that cuts players off from their direct angles. She great at guard-to-guard screens because of her ability to switch, but in addition she is able to fight over screens to get back to the ballhandler with her speedy first step. Youngberg denies the ball and plays the passing lanes. She also has the skill of disrupting the ability to get out in transition. Saige is a point guard that can really help facilitate a team on both ends at the next level. Watch for her in Hamilton, Ohio this upcoming weekend.

McDonald is a slick lefty that plays with a great pace while consistently contributing to impactful plays. Carly has a quick first step and shows an impressive ability to change speeds. She plays tall along with a slight bounce in her step. There's not too much offensively that McDonald can't do. Her nifty handle combined with her lefty style of play makes defenders a bit uneasy when guarding her. Defenders tend to give her angles that fit her advantage. When they do cut her off, her ability to counter on the spot while still remaining in route to the basket is magnificent. Carly can truly run either guard position because of her playmaking capacity for herself and others. McDonald also shows a nice in-between game with her midrange. Additionally, Carly includes some different scoring options from dribble handoffs. Defensively, McDonald uses her craftiness to disrupt ballhandlers in the halfcourt. Altogether, Carly offers a lot of value to positive play and a coach will without question find her a desirable talent. McDonald can be the best guard on the floor at any given night.

[player_tooltip player_id='273943' first='Kaylee' last='Dupuis'] (2025) | 6'1 Wing/Forward | Team Saints

Kaylee is one of the best hidden gems from New Hampshire. She is a dynamic 2-way versatile forward. She can play the 3 and the 4 well due to her high-powered nature. On the perimeter she is great at creating contact while driving to the rim. Her strong base allows her to absorb the contact and finish under strenuous circumstances. The spin move is almost a signature of hers at this point. Expect Kaylee to bring out a couple spin dribbles as she shields players and squares her shoulders to the baseline on her way to the basket. Dupuis also has enough finesse to avoid getting blocked at the rim. She uses all of her 6'1 frame when getting to the basket. She makes it very hard for the help side to alter her layups. Dupuis is also a stellar defender. She is an excellent shot blocker and sometimes even gets multiple swats within the same possession. Her ability to rotate to wherever the ball just further aids her already being in the proper position. Sometimes Kaylee may seem beat off the dribble, but she is precisely getting her timing down to get the block as its releasing. The 6'1 versatile jewel is one for coaches to see. She is a tremendous and underrated prospect to catch this live period.
