5 Smart Offers

There have been some exciting and interesting offers as of late. We're going to give you 5 players that we think received some very smart offers from programs in state and out of state.

I guess I'm officially starting the Fuhs Fan Club. She received her first college offer from Madonna University. I'll say it till I'm blue in the face: Fuhs was OUTSTANDING this grassroots season. Actually, I really like her game all the way back to the PGH Michigan Freshman Showcase last fall. MU seems to have similar feelings.

Howard is an excellent player stock full of upside. Madonna University sees their program this list a second time with this offer. Howard can dominate the boards, both offensively and defensively. This can and will turn into second chance put back opportunities. Howard should show off her much improved offensive footwork this coming high school season.

Arico received an offer from the the defending national champion, University of South Carolina. Not to mention a Marquette offer as well. There's more, but we'll stop there for now. If you saw her at the Nike Nationals, you know why this is such a smart offer. Arico isn't just a top 75 talent in the country, it also kind of feels like she's just at the beginning of her curve. In my humble opinion, Arico could end up a top 25 player.

Gerald picked up an offer from the University of Fort Lauderdale, a Division 1 NCCAA program. Wayne Memorial has been a hotbed of college basketball talent and Gerald is adding to that list. Smart of a school way down south to come to Michigan for top notch talent. Gerald is dominant in the paint, yet versatile enough to shoot with efficiency and be a power playmaker.

McLeod recently received an offer from Siena Heights University. STEAL. I wouldn't be shocked at all to see a player like McLeod be an instant impact player. I say "steal" because I think that she is a big time talent. She's been taking over games with her jumper for years now and I've seen her do it on some big stages. McLeod is simply one of the most explosive shooters in the state.
