We watched COMO-TNT at last weekend's Reebok World Championships in Chesterfield. After dropping their first game against Team Tulsa on Friday night, COMO-TNT went on an impressive run all the way to the championship of the high school division. Here are some of key players on that team.

[player_tooltip player_id='896732' first='Alyce' last='Edwards'] (Kennett): This was my first time to see this talented and dynamic 5'3" 2027 point guard in person after her tremendous freshman season. I watched her via the stream multiple times during the season, but in person, you can really see how fast and quick she moves up and down the court. She stays on the attack in the open court and she is able to score in the lane at a variety of angles. She can also knock down the perimeter jumper to keep defenders honest. She also uses her speed on the defensive end as a relentless on-ball defender. She recently picked up her first Division I offer from SEMO.

[player_tooltip player_id='655046' first='Landri' last='Hammontree'] (Sikeston): A 5'3" 2025 guard who is tough and can get buckets at all three levels. She's a fearless player who doesn't mind getting into the lane amongst the taller players. If she has the time and space, she can knock down shots from well beyond the 3-point line. She also has quick hands of the defensive end as she picked a few pockets for steals which led to transition layups on the other end.

Emoni Summers (Cape Girardeau Central): A 5'9" 2025 guard who came into the game off the bench and immediately changed the flow when she entered. In the game I watched, they were playing a team that was applying pressure defense. When she came in, she immediately started attacking the defense and putting them on their heels. She was getting to the rim to hit layups and she had a nice float game in the lane. Her first step is quick and she is also capable of changing speeds when she has to.

Takylah Wooden (South Pemiscot): A 5'10" forward who is a very good worker inside at both ends of the court with her strength and physicality. In the game I watched her, she got stronger as it went on. She is a good rebounder who gets out of her area. She made some tough catches in traffic and turned them into layups in the post. She is a very good screener. She was also getting out on some impressive rim runs for transition baskets.

Marley Cook (Sikeston): A 6'0" 2026 forward who displayed some impressive shot blocking ability. She has a long wingspan and she has excellent timing to get swats without committing fouls. She also got out and blocked a shot on the perimeter with her quick reaction to the ball. She is a good rebounder as she uses good positioning in the paint. She has good athleticism and she will run the court as well.
