There's a lot of local AAU teams that have a mixture of players from different states, making it tough to analyze just the New Jersey players. What we've done instead is combined several rosters together to give you some good analysis on up-and-coming prospects in the area. This article will feature players from both Lady Runnin Rebels and Philly Belles 2026 DeShields teams.

[player_tooltip player_id='583703' first='Julia' last='Lewis'] - Cherry Hill West (2025)

Lewis has been at the forefront of a fantastic turnaround that Cherry Hill West has been on in recent years, posting career-highs across the board as a junior. What we saw out of Lewis this past season falls in line with another player in this article. She took to the basket, not taking as many shots from outside and capitalizing off keen instinct going to the rim. With that comes physicality and the foul line, and she's welcomed the contact and capitalized off it, shooting free throws at an 80 percent clip.

[player_tooltip player_id='414394' first='Alivia' last='Mauz'] - Williamstown (2025)

Mauz is a special talent, easily one of the top players in South Jersey, period. Williamstown has a knack for developing great talent and Mauz is no different. The rising senior is starting to reach the territory of triple-double threat, let alone a quadruple-double threat thanks to her outstanding defense. Add in consistently efficient and effective three-point shooting, along with quite the rebounding package and you have a budding superstar with a year left in high school to dominate.

[player_tooltip player_id='583702' first='Olivia' last='Selverian'] - Cherokee (2025)

While Selverian might not jump out on the page with stats, her consistency and growth as a player more than makes up for that, helping lead one of the best teams in New Jersey. A capable scorer at all levels, though we saw her really take to the rim and inside the perimeter this past season. Still can shoot the three at a high percentage, not to mention a fantastic passer and equally great, if not an even better all-around defender.

[player_tooltip player_id='835942' first='Caroline' last='Brennan'] - Camden Catholic (2027)

Brennan fit in perfectly to Camden Catholic's system in a big rebuilding year for the program. With so many big pieces having left in recent years, the Irish have really been looking for someone to build around. The rising sophomore forward certainly showed that she's someone to do that with, a great combination of size and skill with great feel and touch around the rim. Really impressed with what she's brought to the table in a short time in Cherry Hill.

Philly Belles DeShields 2026

Margaret Lutz - Shawnee (2026)

After being a relative non-factor as a freshman, barely seeing any time with varsity, that changed for the better as Lutz turned into a starter and an instant impact player at that. Versatile player at the 3 and 4 for the Renegades, also able to play the five when she needs to. She can shoot, she can rebound, she can defend and she protects the rim well. A strong and total combination of finesse, physicality and a high basketball IQ on display at all times.
