Six players on Sunday stood out as the Top Performers in the 15U this past weekend at Battle in the The Sunflower event. My counter part Robert knows these young players and I am guessing maybe even already covered them. I enjoyed covering the 15u group and seeing some new young talent. Girls get those profiles filled out and social media game going it helps greatly moving forward. Tag me with those highlights or videos on X or IG and I will definitely check you out. Good luck rest of summer

Izzy Fahler Bishop Kelly Class 2028 [program_tooltip program_id='716211' first='Team' last='Griffin'] Listed at 5'8 but plays much taller in the post area. Good post up providing a big target for the guards to pass to. The hops she has allows her to climb the latter to get the high passes. Always seemed to be in the right spot for offensive put backs. On defense she does a excellent job protecting the rim which allowed the guards to pressure up

[player_tooltip player_id='932978' first='Hayden' last='Kramer'] Centralia Class 2027 [program_tooltip program_id='917083' first='SSA' last='Girls Hoops'] A very quick guard that does a great job changing direction on the dribble. The best way to describe it as if the defenders were cones cones and she was making moves on her way to the rim. Nice mechanics on the 3 point shot that was very affective. Impressive was the lift she had for her height on the layups avoiding the block shot.

[player_tooltip player_id='875141' first='Moriah' last='Hill'] Carver Class 2028 OYG Oklahoma The best way to define Moriah when watching her Sunday is a quick scrappy point guard that goes hard on both ends. A hard nose driver to the rim that did not mind some contact as she just played through it on her way to the rim. Pushed the tempo as the point and event showed a nice free throw line pull up. Handled the ball with patience waiting to attack the seam from the top of the key having no issues getting to the time with her quickness. Tough lock down defense in the open court getting her hands on several steals for layups. Player to continue to watch as her game develops more.

[player_tooltip player_id='891613' first='Ryan' last='Gotti'] Buhler Class 2027 Lady PGUHoops Ryan is a forward that just stood out to me as I watched their games on Sunday. Seemed to always be around the ball making that extra play. On a team that has shooters she did not need to ball to have an impact. As I would say you do not get the touch then go get the ball. Ryan does that by hustling on defense and offense rebounds. Example of the hustle was she deflected the ball saved it from going out of bounds then cleaned up the miss layup. Appreciated the effort and heart she played with.

[player_tooltip player_id='922643' first='Grace' last='Zeller'] Wabaunsee Class 2027 SSA Hoops A combo guard that can fill up all the boxes on a stat sheet. Meaning she can score, has vision, rebounds, and hustles for steals/deflections. Always moving without the ball keeping good spacing on offense. In a 5 out pass away set she read the defense made the proper read and curled to the basket looking for the ball. Nice mid range game knocking down several short corner shots. On defense she does an excellent job in the 2-2-1 press reading the pass and making the proper rotations.

[player_tooltip player_id='1252309' first='Vianna' last='Coleman'] Union Class 2028 [program_tooltip program_id='716211' first='Team' last='Griffin'] A combo guard that can shoot the outside shot. Great handles that pushes the ball in transition. Scrappy on defense that does not mind getting on the floor for loose balls. Aggressive defender on the press created turnovers for layups for her team.

[player_tooltip player_id='779206' first='Aliviah' last='Ball'] Wheatland-Grinnell Class 2027 [program_tooltip program_id='715500' first='Magic' last='Basketball'] Great athletes that played the 3-4 spots when I watched her play Sunday. Excellent offensive rebounder that scored several points on put backs. On one offensive put back was athletic enough to tip in back in. Runs the floor in transition filling the rim runner spot. Great hands on the catch in transition keeping it off the floor for the layup. On defense helped on drives contesting the shot not giving up any easy baskets. A player to keep an eye on.
