Today is the last day we'll talk specifically about TOC, Nike Nationals, and USJN. So, let's get rolling on a few more standouts.

[player_tooltip player_id='777574' first='Jade' last='Kroll']

I'd never seen Kroll in person before Chicago, and I felt she was a more prominent presence than I expected. It felt like she was getting clean looks whenever she wanted and never seemed out of control. She scored from all three levels in the game I watched and was the most threatening offensive weapon that her [program_tooltip program_id='713328' first='Team' last='1848'] group had. Whenever she touched the ball, it seemed positive things happened for her team, which never hurts. She'll get small-school looks over the next year.

Abby Tassoul

Chicago was the first time I sat down and watched Tassoul play, and she did plenty of intriguing stuff in her minutes. It felt like she was always in open spaces, and when you play on a team with [player_tooltip player_id='509695' first='Emily' last='Urban'], she'll find you. Her activity away from the ball led to wide-open layups for her, and in general, she was as effective as anyone in 16U at USJN away from the ball. Her activity will help her get on the floor for extended stretches at De Pere this season. That movement could swing a game or two for the Redbirds.

[player_tooltip player_id='338947' first='Lauren' last='Strifling']

I always feel like I leave games of Strifling's impressed by what she did in one way or another. In the game I watched, her Chapman team out-talented the team they played, but Strifling showed her ability to knock down shots, which is her main appeal. I've always thought she was skilled and could make things happen. However, she does her best work within what her team is trying to do. She may not be this wizard with the ball in her hands and make something out of nothing with three seconds on the shot clock, but coaches will have her on the floor because they know they can trust her to make the right play, which will win her team games.

[player_tooltip player_id='874997' first='Khloe' last='Pedersen']

Every team needs 6'0 kids who can generate extra possessions by rebounding on the offensive end, getting deflections, or blocking shots. I see Pedersen as a defensive five who can run the floor, make layups, and knock down a few perimeter shots here and there. Her energy on the defensive end is undeniable. There will be a small school in the region that sees the value in what she does, and she'll likely play a role in a competitive team somewhere in the Midwest.
