Kinsey can create problems for defenders in multiple ways because she can use her size and strength to overpower guards off the dribble to score yet I was equally impressed with her “hands and footwork” under the basket to score. Her mid to long-range jumper, especially the “catch and shoot” from deep was nice but she has good body control, plays on the ball defense, and her timing to block shots was a plus
Highlights
Broussard showed her impressive first step was hard to deal with and when you factor in her body control after contact on her finishes, well that grabbed my attention immediately. She used her athleticism on both ends, and baseline-to-baseline pressure was solid but she also read the floor and played the passing lane. She saw the floor, dropped the pulled jumper, and followed her shot #THROWBACK

Mullins left a lasting first impression as she showed me a variety of things starting with her “on the ball” pressure both in the set as well as in the full court but she also attacked the basket strongly from multiple angles, showed she could drop the pull-up jumper in the set as well as in transition plus she gave me the “catch and shoot”

Larue showed she could not only create her shot under pressure but drop it while being defended. Her court vision both in the set as well as in transition was nice, she also scored off the dribble yet later she showed the “catch and shoot” was effective and she also did a good job of positioning to rebound

Johnson was another athletic guard who understands how to use her athleticism on both ends and her defensive pressure was smothering off the top. She did a good job making the offensive player pick up their dribble by beating them to the spot yet on the flip, her deceptive first step was nice as it helped her get to the basket and finish

McFloyd brought heat off the top and she seemed to enjoy it as her defensive pressure helped to create turnovers. She used her quick hands to come away with steals but from baseline to baseline, she was creating havoc and problems. On the flip, she attacked the basket and finished after contact plus she showed she knock down the jumper from outside
Reed has plenty of upside and I was so impressed with her skillset coupled with her size that I added her to the 2028 Watchlist, see evaluation here
