Run 4 Roses 2028 Forwards/Posts

Prep Girls Hoops Missouri takes a look at a group of Class of 2928 forwards and post players that we watched during our three days spent at Session I of the Run 4 Roses in Louisville, KY.   Izzy Miller (Napheesa Coller Elite 15U-Brumley): A 5'11" combo forward from Jefferson City who is strong with a versatile skill set. She operates in the low post with her footwork and good moves inside. She is also excellent on the perimeter with her ability to handle the ball and create off the dribble. She can also hit the 3-pointer. She also gets deflections and blocks on the defensive end.     ******     [player_tooltip player_id='913073' first='Saniah' last='Jones'] ([program_tooltip program_id='712484' first='Della' last='Lamb']): A 5'10" forward from Lee's Summit West who has a good combination of power and quickness which makes her tough to guard in the post. She is strong inside with the drop step to score and she used her good footwork to split double teams inside. She was also a force on the offensive boards. She had the ability to drive it from the high post and score on the drive.     ******     [player_tooltip player_id='1039484' first='Cate' last='Smith'] (MO Phenom 15U-Porter): A 6'0" forward from Rock Bridge who plays up with the 15U team during the tournament. She is a mobile post player who runs the floor well. She gets good seals in the post and can score on the drop step. She can also turn and face from the high post and drive it in the lane.     ******     Arrianna Currithers (Phee Ellite 15U-Bradley): A 5'9" forward from Capital City who has good footwork and a quick first step to beat taller defenders off the dribble to the basket. She is a good rebounder who runs the court very well. She also has solid offensive moves in the low post.     ******     Bella Branson ([program_tooltip program_id='712597' first='Knights' last='Basketball Academy']-Bertucci): A 5'10" forward who was very asserting in sealing defenders for good position in the low post. She did a good job of finishing inside. She also drove to the basket and scored on a nice scoop shot in the lane.     ******     [player_tooltip player_id='1225239' first='Ella' last='Moseley'] (MO Phenom-Fick): A 5'10" forward who is a good positional player who works to get offensive rebounds and putbacks. Her second effort on the boards is very good. She can also step out and hit jumpers from the 12 to 15 foot range.     ******     [player_tooltip player_id='1039526' first='Mallory' last='Griffin'] (MO Phenom-Fick): A 5'10" forward who has good length and she can score with a nice shooting touch around the basket. She is also an effective and willing screener to get her teammates open.     ******     Abigail Koelzer ([program_tooltip program_id='715428' first='Real' last='Dream Chasers']): A 5'11" forward who was very effective in the lane. She had a jump hook that was very impressive. She did a good job of keeping the ball up. She was also a defensive presence with her size and shot blocking.     ******   [player_tooltip player_id='893576' first='Lily' last='Harper'] ([program_tooltip program_id='948123' first='TC' last='Hoops'] 17U): A 5'8" forward from Jackson who was playing up with the 17U team for the weekend. She is physically strong and she plays with good fundamentals. She can put it on the floor and drive effectively and she is an unselfish passer who finds open cutters.
