With the Summer circuit in full swing, it's time to talk about the top prospects from the class of 2025 who should be on every recruiter's radar. The players on this list include the best-rising seniors in the Borderland from El Paso, TX, to Las Cruces, NM.

There might not be a more confident player in the whole Borderland than Franklin's [player_tooltip player_id='346120' first='Emma' last='Balsiger']. She's a potent and prolific 3-point shooter with a quick trigger, and she is seemingly never afraid to let it rip. Balsiger averaged 19.0 PPG as a junior and posted 12 games with four or more three-pointers. She was one-half of the best backcourts in the city last season, but with her fellow Cougar Caitlynn Clark graduating, one could expect her to improve on what already was a stellar junior year. Spectators and recruiters alike will be in for a show in 2024-25.

For those who don't know, Jordan Sapien is the best point guard anytime she steps foot on the court anywhere in the Borderland. She's coming off an unreal junior season in which she averaged 17.7 points, 4.7 rebounds, 7.6 assists, and 4.3 steals per game. Sapien is a certified stat stuffer who gets it done on both ends as a great offensive hub and end-to-end defender. It's hard to imagine how much more she can do statistically going into 2024-25, but that is the exciting part about her upcoming senior campaign.

Arguably the best Big in the Borderland, Alamogordo's [player_tooltip player_id='642714' first='Teeya' last='Gordon'] certainly has the attention of those watching in New Mexico. She's coming off a junior season where she was just a shade under averaging a double-double and commands a presence down low on both sides of the court. At 6-1, she changes the geometry of the court and makes nothing easy for finishers at the rim. If she continues to round out the rest of her offensive game and touch around the rim, rival programs, and fellow Bigs are going to have a tough time containing her in 2024-25.

One of two Hanks players to make this list, Hernandez had a breakout junior year, during which she averaged 10 points and 11.5 rebounds per game as a wing. Hanks went 10-0 in district play last season and it had a lot to do with the play of Hernandez. Arguably, the most impressive stat from her junior year is that she averaged a staggering 5.5 offensive rebounds per game. On the boards, you won't find may better than Hernandez, especially at the wing position.

Daisy Fernandez is one of the more unique guards in the Borderland. At 5-10, she is one of the bigger guards in the area, and she uses that height to her advantage. Fernandez averaged 8.6 rebounds and 1.8 blocks per game as a junior, which was elite for her position. She scores, rebounds, and defends while playing on one of the best teams in El Paso. She checks a lot of the boxes you would want out of a 2025 prospect.

Danae Gonzalez is one of the most well-rounded prospects in the Borderland, and she does it as a diminutive gamer at the point guard position. She's another stat stuffer who racks up points, rebounds, assists, and steals. You put on the tape, and you can easily see how she gravitates towards the ball on both ends. You want her to set up your offense, and you want her to be at the point of attack on defense. With Burges graduating some major star talent from the class of 2024, Gonzalez should have a huge senior campaign.

Out in Northeast El Paso, Jasmine Blake is the 2025 prospect to talk about. She was the best player on a young rebuilding Chapin squad and with that, had a breakout junior year. She averaged 10.2 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 2.0 steals per game, announcing herself as the best player on the team. Now, with another year of growth and a more experienced team altogether, you can expect a big senior season from Blake and the Huskies.

With the Summer circuit in full swing, it's time to talk about the top prospects from the class of 2025 who should be on every recruiter's radar. The players on this list include the best-rising seniors in the Borderland from El Paso, TX, to Las Cruces, NM.
