Freshman Showcase: Long Term Potential

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Over 60 freshmen made the trip to Louisville on Saturday to compete with many of the best players from across the state in this 2028 class. There were several names that have been known for a while coming into the event but plenty more who made names for themselves at camp on Saturday afternoon. The rest of her game needs to catch up and she gets a little passive on defense at times but LiLi was the best pure scorer I saw Saturday and that includes the 80+ boys that came in after the girls' camp ended. She has great size for a wing and had some of the most fluid mechanics of anyone at the event. She carries herself like an older player and it would be easy to see her running a team from the PG spot. Avery has good size already and plays pretty hard. Even if she's a rotation "big" who specializes in rebounding this season, her future is very bright if she continues to work hard.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
