Freshman Standouts : Oklahoma Fadeaway Hoops Bracket

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Sometimes if you watch club or AAU basketball clips online, you might see the crowd get so hyped that overzealous younger fans make their way on to the court, stopping the game in play. That was the case this past weekend in Edmond, but it wasn't LaMelo Ball or Trae Young, it was a young point guard from Texas named Angel Sifuentes. As the defender was returning to a standing position, Angel hit a deep three that brought onlookers onto the floor. Due to some teams dropping out on Saturday I got to focus on two showdowns between high level Freshmen in an Oklahoma vs. Texas match-up. Her change of direction stuff is very advanced already, makes it tough to guard her far from the basket, but then her deep three-point range makes it hard to give her any space. Was able to finish with contact to get and And-1 to ice their first game with the Aces. Nice looking mid range game, good athlete. Very solid strong point guard. Was a calming force when things started going south for the Aces. Aces post players do a good job of finding the open spot as their defenders have to help over. Full disclosure, one of my high school players is playing for the Aces this summer.
