As has been the case for the past several summers, the annual Hoops4MS event took over the state the first weekend in August. What a great cause and what incredible players that fans, scouts and more got a chance to see. Now is as good a time as ever to look over the rosters from the event, beginning with Team Faith (Gray).

[player_tooltip player_id='559076' first='Jayah' last='Curtis'] - Montclair Immaculate (2026)

Curtis is arguably the most recognizable name of the New Jersey players represented on this roster and has evolved into a name to know at Immaculate Conception following last season. Excelled in a bench role, utilizing the three-ball to her advantage with a relatively balanced offensive skillset. Very impressed with her three-point shooting and the consistency at which she showcased it. Curtis is poised for a breakout junior season with IC.

[player_tooltip player_id='686429' first='Cassidy' last='Moore'] - Gill St. Bernard's (2025)

On the high school front, Moore has been an unknown commodity, mostly used off the bench over the past three seasons. Moore has shown herself to be much more than a bench player, shining during AAU ball with New Jersey Rise, a program that's really helped her grow and shine on the floor. We don't expect her to come off the bench as a senior as with some holes in the starting lineup, she seems poised to blossom as a starter and key contributor.

[player_tooltip player_id='789537' first='Jalyn' last='Moore'] - Gloucester Catholic (2026)

Moore entered the mix for Gloucester Catholic as a sophomore and immediately made an impact, capitalizing off added playing time to showcase some excellent three-point shooting as well as an ability to get to the rim and rattle off some baskets. The ability to make an instant impact in one's first year shows that she not only wants the spotlight on her, but she can shine in the spotlight. Intrigued to see what she can do in year two on varsity.

[player_tooltip player_id='559036' first='Logan' last='Squeri'] - Rutgers Prep (2026)

If you don't know about Squeri and what she brings to the table, you'll soon learn plenty about her this season as she's expected to take on a much bigger role for Rutgers Prep as a junior. One thing that immediately stands out is her size, a 6-0 guard with that long wingspan which comes in handy on both sides of the ball, from catching passes to scooping up rebounds to deflecting the ball on defense. She's shown great versatility on the court, no doubt.

[player_tooltip player_id='1263026' first='Tyonnah' last='Barnes'] - Roselle Catholic (2026)

Barnes certainly took a step forward during the AAU season, finding her stride as the spring and summer went along. The same can be said for what we saw out of her as a sophomore for Roselle Catholic, stringing together her best performances toward the end of the season. We're excited to see where she'll grow as a player come her junior season, but one thing is for sure, that three-point prowess has been fantastic to watch.

[player_tooltip player_id='871200' first='Reagan' last='Powell'] - Middle Township (2026)

With experiences comes success and Powell certainly falls into that category, a bench player turned impact starter as a sophomore. Powell is someone who utilizes the lane to her advantage and her physical play style has really allowed her to increase her offensive production exponentially. Knowing when to draw contact to get to the line or to get a tough basket, that takes a smart player to find those moments during the game to exploit.

[player_tooltip player_id='878692' first='Akeelah' last='Lafleur'] - Westampton Tech (2025)

Looking at the New Jersey players on this list, there really aren't too many rising seniors to talk about, but we do get to talk about Lafleur, a double-double machine as a junior with Westampton Tech. If you needed one, she could get you one without question, a testament to her post-play and success on both sides of the ball. Great command of the rim in short-range situations and a strong rebounder to say the least.
