The #1 rated prospect out of Iowa still has yet to make her college decision but she has narrowed down her list to a Top Six moving into this Fall. On this list is LSU, Illinois, Baylor, South Carolina, Virginia Tech, and Arizona. I'm sure this Fall that she has visits lined up to each place, trying to figure out which program feels the most like home compared to the others. That is going to play the biggest factor in her decision, along with when she will see the floor but that shouldn't be a worry. She is the #5 rated prospect in the country out of the 2025 Class so no matter where she goes, she should be an instant impact, no matter where that is.

You might not know too much about Layla Hays and the type of game that she brings to floor but trust me, you will soon. Hays is a four-star recruit and the #60th ranked prospect in the country according to ESPNW coming to us from the state of Alaska. She is 6'5 and someone that is best down-low from block-to-block. This past week, Hays narrowed her college choices down to her final eight. The choices include Nebraska, Illinois, North Carolina, Duke, Gonzaga, Washington, Indiana, and Iowa. This is all going to come down to where she wants to go. With being from Alaska, I'm sure anywhere will feel far away but Washington and Gonzaga are obviously a lot closer in proximity so that could potentially play a factor in the grand scheme of things.

The #1 ranked player out of Texas out of the 2025 Class is Aaliyah Chavez and many recruiters are labeling her as the best offensive talent coming out of high school that anyone has seen in a long, long time. Following her Nike EYBL 17U Championship run with her CyFair Elite team, Chavez named off her Top Six schools that are still in the running for her commitment. The schools she listed were LSU, South Carolina, Texas, Texas Tech, UCLA, and Oklahoma. Obviously Chavez is going to stay down South but I'm not exactly sure where she will land. She is going to be a Day 1 starter to any school in the country so it all comes down to location preference and what each program can offer her in the end.

As of last Thursday evening, Soma Okola of Glenn High School and Phoenix 2025 AAU narrowed down her college list to six prestigious programs. Including four high-end D1 programs like North Carolina, Iowa State, Washington, and Miami. Okola's game would best be described as a bruiser at the guard position with touch, coordination, agile movement, and a high level of situational knowledge of the game from an X's and O's perspective. She is a high-end ranking prospect out of Texas, that could be considered a Combo Guard or Forward and that's says a lot about what she can bring to the floor for her size at 6'1. Texas has some bucket getters and this is definitely one of them to know about before she makes her commitment in the near future.

As of 48 hours ago, Erianna Gooden of The Missouri Phenom EYBL has narrowed down her college options to her Top Six choices. Those places being UNLV, Colorado, Columbia, Creighton, Tulsa, and Missouri State. Gooden is a 6'0 PG with a beautiful shooting stroke, fantastic vision for passing purposes in both the half-court and in the full-court in transition, and better than average knowledge of the game. She comes in as the #1 PG, and #2 overall prospect out of the State of Arkansas even though for AAU she travels to compete with the Phenom. She has been next level this entire AAU season and she is only going to improve with time.
