<p>[player_tooltip player_id='813483' first='Rylee' last='Dodson'] (Rolla): The 5'8” 2027 guard stepped in as a freshman and provided some good support on a veteran Rolla team that was one of the best in Class 5 last season. With a year of varsity experience under her belt and after a strong summer with the MO Phenom, she is ready to become an even bigger factor. She can play the point guard or shooting guard position with equal effectiveness while also playing solid defense.</p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='982948' first='Grace' last='Ancell'] (Delta): A 5'10" 2025 forward who provided some strong inside play for the Bobcats, who finished third in the Class 1 state tournament last season. Delta will have to retool a little bit with the graduation of three excellent starters, but Ancell should be ready to carry a bigger load inside after averaging eight points and six rebounds a game last season.</p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='302756' first='Peyton' last='Olufson'] (Incarnate Word): A 5'8" 2026 point guard who has been a playing a solid role for the Red Knights last two Class 6 state championship teams. She has continued to blossom with ability to be a creative scorer and playmaker. She had a strong summer with the Phee Elite 16U team. She has already picked up numerous Division I scholarship offers.</p>

<p>Mya Wray (Platte Valley): A 5'8" 2026 guard who helped Platte Valley win another Class 1 state title last season. When All-State guard Brylie Angle went down with a knee injury late in the season, Wray stepped into her place and provided some very timely scoring. With Player of the Year Maggie Collins and Angle graduated, Wray should become one of the prime players for the next two seasons. She is also a state champion distance runner in track and field.</p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='1020865' first='Ashley' last='Mays'] (John Burroughs): A 5'4" 2025 guard who came off the bench last year for the Bombers' Class 5 state champions. She is a fearless player who could come in and toss in a couple of quick buckets to help change the momentum. Mays and 5'8" 2027 guard Sydney Blanton will be two players needed to step up to provide support to returning Division I level starters [player_tooltip player_id='302781' first='BreAunna' last='Ward'] and [player_tooltip player_id='351820' first='Moriyah' last='Douglass'].</p>

<p>Taniya Cuthird (Raytown South): The 5'9" 2026 guard has been a solid player for the past two years while playing alongside All-State forward Jayla McClendon. With McClendon transferring to Bishop Miege, Cuthird moves to the top spot where she should improve on her 10 points a game last season. She is smooth on the drive and can create her own shot on offense.</p>
