Here are five guards who should make immediate impacts in their varsity debut:

[player_tooltip player_id='981918' first='Hailey' last='Benbow'] | 5'9" SG | Rutgers Prep | Jersey Gemz

Hailey may just be the top player in this Class! With extreme quickness, craftiness and a long 6'1" wingspan, she tore it up on the EYBL circuit this summer! Her elite level earned her invitations to Bluestar 30, Check Me Out New York and CP3 Rising Stars National Camp. The general public got their first look at her in a Rutgers Prep uniform at Jersey Live this past June and boy did she impress! A freshman who is far from your typical freshman!

[player_tooltip player_id='981887' first='Giovanna' last='Burress'] | 5'10" SG | DePaul | Philly Rise

If anyone is going to challenge Hailey for the top spot, it's sure to be GG! The star potential is blinding bright with this one! On the EYBL circuit, she slashed through the lane and got to the rim at will, having her way with whatever defense was thrown at her. The daughter of NFL star Plaxico Burress, athleticism was surely passed down because she is flat-out ELECTRIC out there! She left her mark in Chicago at Nationals and if it's any indication of things to come this winter, she will be having opponents in shambles!

[player_tooltip player_id='919624' first='Nawel' last='Lefebvre'] | 6'1" SG | Morristown | NJ Raptors

This 6'1" lefty is skilled well beyond her years! I got my first look at her back in June at the Prime Event and was wildly impressed with her level. She left her mark in Spooky Nook, leading her team to a monumental upset over powerhouse Team Takeover to claim the 15U Platinum Bracket 'Chip. She is very versatile, can play and defend 1-3 and has a jaw-droppingly impressive vertical (yes, she can touch rim!) She earned an invitation to the Northeast Elite 100 Camp where she competed against other top young prospects from around the area.

[player_tooltip player_id='981908' first='Meso' last='Nwobu'] | 5'7" SG | Hun | Philly Rise

Meso is a testament that when you work hard from an early age, anything is possible! It's this determination that has already earned her a Division 1 offer (from Manhattan) before ever setting foot in a high school gym! She rode the wave this summer on the EYBL circuit, showcasing her skills at major events such as EYBL Session 3 in Louisville) and Nike Nationals in Chicago. She capped off the summer participating at Princeton's Elite Camp where she earned All-Star Team honors and left a lasting impression on Coach Berube and the rest of the staff!

[player_tooltip player_id='898190' first='Gianna' last='Sano'] | 5'6" PG | St. John Vianney | Jersey Gemz

Talk about SHIFTY!! GiGi has handles for days and can shake-and-bake a defender out of their shoes! She made it look easy all summer long and ran the point to perfection, being the leader and floor general the Gemz could depend on. She reminds me of a young Paige Bueckers the way she is able to keep the ball on a string, knock down shots from anywhere and make it look effortless! She closed out the summer by attending Monmouth's Elite Camp and being invited to participate in Check Me Out New York (Elite is Earned). She is MUST-SEE TV!
