Region Player of the Year

Dycus: Erianna Thomas, ‘24, Pearl Cohn–

One of my favorite guards to watch in the state. She does everything well, turning herself into a Miss Basketball candidate, and AA All-State team member. She averaged 16 point, 6 assists, and 5 rebounds. Signed with Garden State.

Honorable Mention: Jaslyn Walter, East Nashville, ‘24– The 5'10 big framed guard can do a bit of everything, and did this season for East Nashville. She led them to another 20 win season, and put up solid numbers. The senior signed with Southeastern.

Region Most Improved

Dycus: Jayla Horton, East Nashville, ‘24 – The 6'0 foot post turned herself into a bonafide player this year. She's always been a defensive force, and high level rebounder, but this season her offensive game really came to life as well.

Honorable Mention: Cleo Johnson, East Nashville, ‘24– Led her team well, averaged 4.5 assists per game.

Region Freshman of the Year

[player_tooltip player_id='907604' first='Lamya' last='Robertson'], ‘27, Pearl Cohn – Had a huge season for PC! The freshman put up some huge scoring and rebounding nights. With Robertson and Davis returning, I like Pearl Cohn for next season!

Region Players to Watch For Next Season

[player_tooltip player_id='890275' first='Madison' last='Woodard'], ‘25, Pearl Cohn – Became a bigtime piece for them this season. The 5'8 wing can play inside or out, and is a high level defender. She could take a big leap forward next season.

Dyna'C Davis, ‘25, Pearl Cohn – Had some really big nights as well. Showed really flashes of turning into a consistent scorer and wing that helps on the glass and defends.
