Whether it has been Amber Smith (Loyola), Alana Beard (Southwood) or Destiny Rice (North Caddo), Caddo Parish has had top talent play here. The girls that are at the summit now in Caddo are just as talented as those epic players. Hamilton can play on or off ball and is as complete a basketball player as they come. She was a major reason why Huntington made the semifinals of Marsh Madness. In her first two seasons, she has done just that. Through her play, Kyndal has earned all-state and all-city honors in her first two varsity campaigns. In her junior season, Graham will look to help Huntington win a state title. Her game is predicated on being a Swiss Army knife. Marshall does whatever it takes to help her team win. From leading the press to facilitating the offense, Marshall can do it and do it well. Now, in her senior season, Marshall has transferred to Northwood (Shreveport). Playing for the same coach in consecutive seasons will help Green play her best basketball of her high school career. She has the skill set to have a big season for the Lady Cowboys. Edgerson is a physical player who loves contact unlike a lot of young ladies. Kylise can finish through physical play in the paint. She is also a good defender and knows how to play passing lanes and rebound on the defensive boards. Edgerson excels in transition and a couple of easy buckets seems to get her going. She can spot up from three or get to the rim via straight line drives. Bell can attack from anywhere in the half court and create advantages for herself or her teammates. Jamari, while unselfish, can take over games with her play as well. Effit usually helps her team get into transition situations by blocking a shot or rebounding the ball. Kamara is a rebounding machine who understands how to run rim-to-rim. She usually posts early and when she catches the ball, she scores it more times than not. Her defensive abilities are ahead of her offense.
