PGH Carolinas Expo: NC Top Performers

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><br>Prep Girls Hoops hosted the Carolinas Expo in Rock Hill on Saturday where players from across North and South Carolina came to compete and show what they are made of.  We were able to see a lot of top talent getting us excited to see these players perform this upcoming high school season.  Here are my picks for the top North Carolina performers from the event.</p> <!-- teammates know where she is.  Her encouragement and offensive guidance is certainly fun to listen to as well.  She plays nice defense knowing how to hedge towards her opponent and make it difficult for anyone to get by her.  She hustles back on defense being ready to tie up the ball on fast breaks preventing her opponent from scoring.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block --> making some nice moves hitting the shot off her jump stop as her defender kept going by her.  She pushes the tempo handling it up the court easily weaving in and out of her defender.  She was consistently showing off her handles creating her own plays and hitting some nice bounce passes to her teammates for their own bucket.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block --> <!-- some nice cuts to the basket finding the open lanes and going to work.  She drove hard to the basket with the catch from the top of the key.  She runs the floor well hustling up the court being ready to score in transition.  She even handled the ball dribbling it up the court and finding her open teammate on a fast break.  She has a high arc on her shot making it difficult to be blocked.</p> <!-- job crashing the boards on both ends being ready to come down with the rebound and go to work.  She does a nice job sealing off her opponents making herself a big target for the entry pass.  She has some nice length that helps her go up high and grab rebounds.  It may look like she gets easy buckets at times, but it's due to the work she does without the ball getting into the open areas.</p> <!--
