The most dominate scorer on the Hornets team. Lenise continues to be impressive and show why she is a top ranked player in North Carolina. One of the things that stood out to me was how much she has improved in her face up jump shot. She has extended the floor and is a major threat all the way out to the three-point line. She is shooting it at a very high percentage too. Joseph also did a great job of running in transition and getting easy lay ins around the basket.

Lenise was a finalist for NC Miss Basketball and recently was named Most Valuable Player of the State Championship game where she and her teammates were crowned State Champions. Now she can add First Team All-State to her honors as well. Joseph averaged a double-double with 18 points, 11 rebounds, 3 steals and 3 blocks. Only a 2027, so she will be back next year stronger than ever.

When matching up against North Meck, a key to victory has to be to contain the interior scoring prowess of star veteran big. That was not done by Southern SES as evidenced by the double-double of 21 points and 12 rebounds Joseph mustered. Joseph not only departed from The Joel with a state championship, but she was also named the Kay Yow Most Valuable Player for Saturday’s championship get-together. Eleven of Joseph’s points were placed on the scoreboard in the first quarter alone. Joseph is one of the six juniors on this season’s Vikings squad. Seven blocked shots and two steals were also part of Joseph’s performance.

Currently the #1 ranked player in the state of Norh Carolina. Lenise is a versatile athletic forward with an extremely high motor that does so much for her North Meck squad on and off the court. She runs the floor like a gazillion with maximum effort and speed. Rebounds the ball at a high rate and can score anywhere on the court.

Lenise is a versatile, high-IQ forward who impacts the game on both ends. She scores efficiently in the paint and facing up, can attack off the bounce or finish on the block, and runs the floor hard while staying active on the glass. Paired with her defensive instincts, communication, and leadership, Lenise’s all-around game and consistency make her a clear Top 100 national prospect. Talented, agile and excellent communication makes Lenise the perfect forward at the next level. She can shoot face up jumpers that are nothing but net. Skilled enough to take bigger defenders off the bounce from the perimeter. Tough enough to make back to back post moves and find a way to score.
