There has been a lot of movement with players transferring to new schools, creating highly competitive teams and setting up great matchups all season long. Transferring schools can be an adjustment—learning new systems, adapting to different coaching styles, and understanding your teammates' playing styles. However, one thing that doesn't change is the ability to put the ball in the basket, and these 2025 guard transfers won't have any trouble doing what they do best: score.

Azzariah was a standout this travel season with [program_tooltip program_id='713590' first='FGB' last=''] 17U UAA. She competed against some of the top players in the nation, held her own, and proved she belongs on the big stage. Last year, Styles led her high school team, Plant, in points per game (13.9), assists per game (3.9), and shot 48% from the field, showing she's no stranger to scoring.

Styles also led Plant to the 7A district championship, though they unfortunately came up short. For the 2024/2025 season, Azzariah will be taking her talents to powerhouse Winter Haven High School, last season's 7A state runners-up. Despite joining a loaded Blue Devil squad, Azzariah brings the skillset Winter Haven needs to get over the 7A hump and win the state championship this year.

Her ability to handle full-court pressure, make the right decisions, and score off the catch, dribble, or screen—basically however you want it—makes her an instant scoring threat for Winter Haven this season.

Soleil comes off a competitive travel season with [program_tooltip program_id='715943' first='Southeast' last='United']. Last year, Dejesus led her high school team, Excel Christian Academy, in points per game (24.7), steals per game (2.5), and had three games where she scored 40 points, showcasing her ability to score in high volumes. Soleil also led her team to the CFAC Championship and earned honors as the FACA Player of the Year in the Independent Division.

This season, Soleil is taking her talents to 7A Haines City High, along with a few other notable transfers. Haines City finished last season with a 17-7 record and a first-round state playoff loss. Soleil has the ability to play both point guard and off the ball. She's a threat in transition, lightning-fast with the ball in her hands, and loves to draw contact for the "And 1."

Dejesus is also a two-way player who will guard the opposing team's best player all 84 feet. Soleil fits perfectly with Haines City's fast and athletic style of play, making it likely she will have little adjustment and will be a scoring threat from day one. Making Haines city a threat for a deep 7A state championship run

Peyton is a hidden gem who had a strong travel season with [program_tooltip program_id='713224' first='Warehouse' last='Ballers']. While most may not be familiar with her name, once you see her play in person—or compete against her—she ensures you remember her from that point on.

Last year, Flournoy led her high school team, 4A Gibbs High, in points per game (14.0), scoring 307 points over the season. She averaged two 3-pointers per game and had standout performances, hitting five threes in one game and four threes twice, showcasing her ability to be a threat from beyond the arc. Peyton also led her team to a 14-9 record and a second-round appearance in the 4A state tournament.

This season, Flournoy will be taking her talents to 5A Clearwater High, which is under new coaching. She joins fellow deep-threat [player_tooltip player_id='847610' first='Allevia' last='Williams'], adding even more firepower to an already potent 3-point shooting team. Peyton plays low to the ground, making her a threat when shooting off the dribble from both mid-range and three-point territory. She can also blow by defenders, using her low, strong playing style and fearlessness when it comes to contact. Her skills will help Clearwater stretch the floor this season, with her ability to not only shoot the three but hit it from deep.

Last year, Kalese co-led her high school team, Tampa Bay Tech, in points per game (12.2) and led the team in assists per game (2.5), scoring 257 points over the season. Tampa Bay Tech had a young team due to a rebuilding year under new coaching, with Kalese and Azjannie being the only two returning varsity players.

This season, Salter is taking her talents to the 2024 6A state runner-ups, Bloomingdale, who had an impressive 30-1 season. Already a strong team, Bloomingdale brings in Kalese along with a few other transfers, with the goal of winning the state championship this year. Kalese brings a crafty scoring ability, using minimal dribbles to create her own shots. Salter has become decisive with the ball, and her quickness and speed allow her to get past defenders and drive to the rim. She can also stop on a dime and hit her step-back jumper, making her an even more dangerous scoring threat, especially with so many other weapons around her.

Salter adds an extra scoring threat that will help Bloomingdale replicate the success of last season, but this time with the goal of winning the state championship.

Last year, Martin co-led her high school team, Venice, in points per game (11.1), scoring 300 points over the season. Riley helped lead Venice to a 17-10 record and a run to the 7A state tournament regional finals.

This season, Martin will be taking her talents to Cardinal Mooney, the 3A state runners-up. Already a team stacked with multiple players holding college offers and returning everyone but one player, Riley adds an extra scoring ability that will help Cardinal Mooney compete for and possibily win the state championship this year.

Riley keeps the ball on a string at all times, and if you're not careful, you might end up on her highlight reel. Martin shoots the ball at a high percentage, whether it's off the catch, screen, or dribble, making her a constant scoring threat. She can play both on and off the ball and can score in transition or in a half-court offense. Simply put, Martin can flat-out SCORE!

Last season, Sofia played for Central Pointe Academy and reached the 1,000-point scoring mark in only her junior year, helping lead the team to the 2024 NISAA Championship.

This season, Sofia will be transferring to powerhouse Lake Highland Prep, now classified as 3A after winning the 4A state championship. Lake Highland loses four highly recruited seniors from last year, and Sofia has big scoring shoes to fill. But she can definitely fill them. When you hear the opposing coach yelling "SHOOTER," they're talking about her. Munoz can light it up quickly—if she gets her shot off, it's more than likely going in. Her strong frame allows her to get her shot off quickly, and her confidence enables her to hit contested shots as well.

The addition of Munoz instantly makes Lake Highland Prep a favorite to win another state championship.
